Didn't know
DYK that Jason Voorhees had a James Bond Intro..

Didn't know, and sounds unlikely unless you're referring to an out-of-continuity crossover.
DYK that the fart joke is the oldest joke in the book? No, literally the Sumerians in 1900 BC (over 3900 years ago) joked: “Something which has never occurred since time immemorial; a young woman did not fart in her husband’s lap.” and that's the oldest recorded joke known to man.
@lazorguns: I believe he was referring to the scene in Casper (1995) movie where Ray Stantz made a guest appearance!
o.t. Didn't know, But it is a cool fact to remember!
DYK \/
Didn't know.
DYK that ROM: Spaceknight is actually canon to Marvel Comics despite being licensed by Hasbro and unavailable as an IP since 1986?
Because the original series was written in the context of Earth-616 and while mostly self-contained in story, did have crossovers with many of the other heroes in the 75 issue run, and it was canon on their ends as well. While the character of Rom can't be used, other aspects of his world can and have been used such the Dire Wraiths, and the titular Spaceknights that aren't Rom.
Yes and I for one and both shocked and amazed it finally happened!
DYK Though it was rumored that Hal Jordan was based on Errol Flynn, artist Gil Kane actually patterned Hal’s rugged good looks after Paul Newman.
Didn't know, But for once it is hard to believe!
DYK That After Halloween (1978), Jamie Lee Curtis went on to act in a few other horror films like The Fog (1980), Prom Night (1980) and Terror Train (1980). These films earned Curtis the title of “scream queen” for her iconic shriek and her ability to outwit assailants and survive the night.
I knew that.
Speaking of Shazam, DYK that there's nothing legally preventing DC from still calling him "Captain Marvel" other than having the title of his story be that (which they previously got around by calling it "Shazam: The Adventures of Captain Marvel"), and this change/restriction is imposed on an executive level because they don't want confusion with the Captain Marvel of Marvel Comics?
I knew some of that, and it frustrates me. Because I am huge Captain Marvel fan and I want him to have his real name back!
DYK Stan Lee and Dr. Seuss were in the same military unit during WW2?
I knew that!
DYK that Daniel Craig was the first actor to play James Bond that was born after the series began.
Yes
Did you know besides her abuse towards Johnny Depp, Amber Heard also cheated on him with Elon Musk and James Franco?
Did not know
DYK Jeopardy! holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running quiz show of all time.
Hmm, Didn't know!
DYK Pink Kryptonite turns Kryptonians gay.
I believe you're referring to Doom Patrol, right? I've heard of that, but honestly I disagree with the idea that the X-Men "copied" them. The X-Men debuted only three months after Doom Patrol did, not nearly enough time for them to copy DP in full and have it out on stands, especially since Doom Patrol wasn't exactly a top hit for DC. It was just a coincidence, helped by the fact that both were drawing from similar ideas of "superhuman outcasts."
DYK that the first country which sponsored a black athlete was... Nazi Germany?
In 1936, Adidas sponsored American athlete Jesse Owens to promote their brand of tennis shoes, who then proceeded to win the Summer Olympics in Berlin.
Wow Shocker! Did not know that!
DYK Batman’s favorite food is soup.
More specifically, its Mulligatawny soup. This is seen in Batman #701 where Alfred prepares a tired Batman with his favorite comfort food. This dish originated from South Indian cuisine and is very popular in British India.
Didn't know.
DYK that before Sam Raimi, there was going to be a Spider-Man movie directed by James Cameron in the 1990s?
This movie was going to be R-rated with profanity, more violence, satirical undertones of modern culture, sex scenes, and the final battle would be atop The World Trade Center.
The cast would've been:
It should be noted that some elements of the '90s script were carried over to the 2002 version by writer David Koepp.
As a bonus: This unmade movie is the reason why Electro and Sandman didn't appear in the '90s animated series as we know, because Cameron was going to use them. Electro only appeared in a heavily reinvented form as Red Skull's son because that was the only way they could get him in at all.
Didn't know.
DYK that the first country which sponsored a black athlete was... Nazi Germany?
In 1936, Adidas sponsored American athlete Jesse Owens to promote their brand of tennis shoes, who then proceeded to win the Summer Olympics in Berlin.
It's almost correct, but not quite. Jesse Owens wore the shoes made by the Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik founded in 1924 by Adolf (Adi) and Rudolf Dassler. After WW2, the rag burned between the two brothers, the company was liquidated and they each founded a new company, Adidas in 1949 (Adi Dassler) and Puma in 1948 (Rudolf Dassler). The Nazi fanatic was Rudolf, but they were both party members.
DYN that Hugo Boss designed and manufactured the SS uniforms.
Obviously.
DYK that in Spider-Man (2002), Spidey was originally going to use mechanical webshooters like he usually does, and the change to it being a natural power was made late mainly for plot pacing reasons?
In fact, the gadget was both drawn out, built and filmed, with a lost scene having shown Peter using it.
