Dennis Rodman in the Basketball Hall of Fame ?

I think so. He was pretty good, and he had a huge impact on the sports he (and Jordan) are the two reasons I began watching NBA as a kid. And even if he isn't the best, He was influential he knew how to draw a crowd and how to entertain. And influence is just as important as actual skill, he brought in a lot of fans. and introduced a new generation to the sport. but also in my opinion (nearly) every player on the 90's Bulls is deserving of recognition. They were hands down one of the most impressive teams in any sport, not just basketball.
Rodman's Defense as well as his Rebounding was Pretty Awesome... only 6-7 dude to average over 18 boards in a season during the modern era of Basketball... impressive
Best rebounder in pro-basketball for a decade or the majority of it (7x rebounding champion). Greatest below the rim rebounder of All-Time imo (Top 3 is not even debatable, for sure number 1, this era) and one of the best defenders the NBA has seen (one of, if not, the most versatile defender ever; can guard 7-footers or SGs).
Could get into the mind and skin of pretty much any player he wanted to and knew the fundamentals of rebounding inside out (could out-rebound 7-foot all-tme greats guys like Olajuwon, Shaq, Ewing, and Robinson).
For Detroit and Chicago, he was a key piece for both of their title runs.
2x DPOY, 7x NBA All-Defensive First Team, 5x NBA Champion, 13.2 rpg for his career.
Yes he should be in the HOF, and by NBA standards as far as HOF electing goes; it would be a travesty if he wasn't.
Yea he had a real impact on the game on and off the court he deserved it but he's in the lower class of the hall of fame
Finally the NBA does the rigth thing. He's going to be inducted.
Rodman was so underrated it wsnt even funny to see how people underrated him.

What kind of HOF is that without Reggie Miller and Kevin Johnson?I can see Miller maybe, the lack of a ring may hamper his induction a bit though...
Kevin Johnson? Hmm... Lol.
The dude's a freak but he's damn good at the game and despite popular belief Jordan didn't win all those championships alone
He worked far too hard on the court for anyone to justify that he shouldn't deserve being in the Hall of Fame in my view.

I think is over rated as a rebounder and defender because of a quote by Charles Barkley, something along the lines of "If all I did was rebound and not play offense I would have the same kind of rebounding numbers." That being said I am a fan of him for that as well as his value as a entertainer. He even stated that he turned himself from a mid level salary guy to a 10 million a year guy by dying his hair and acting crazy.....
Is he a hall of famer, I guess so, but would you put him on any top ten list of PFs of all time or even the last 20 years, definitly not.....he is more meant for the Hall of REALLY REALLY GOOD
