My current popularity contest is over, I decided to start another one. Instead of another character list, It's devoted to the catchphrases from television and the movies.

I feel like the line between true catchphrases and popular quotes is being blurred here...

Yes, I think you might have a point. Generally speaking, a catchphrase is something the character is known for saying multiple times. It immediately identifies who they are. An iconic quote is a sentence or two strongly associated with a character, but it might be said only once, i.e. "I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse". There are some which blur the lines like "Come with me if you want to live" from the Terminator movies. It feels like a catchphrase for Arnie, but it's more an iconic quote since Reese says it in the first movie and other people say it in subsequent movies. Another would be "And now for something completely different". It's said by multiple people so it could be considered an iconic quote, but it happens so frequently it could also be seen as a catchphrase to the entire series. Furthermore, some catchphrases become so identified with a character within a show that other characters in that same show may say the same phrase as a parody.
