...now you know what's been going on for the pass few months. Now hitting the front pages, is the red ink of the blood that's been hitting the frontline for so long. We've been trying to hold them off as long as we can. Marching through trenches of crimson mud, up to our knees. As fire rains from the sky, I see them from over the horizon, waiting for us, long to finally put a end to our way of life...I CAN'T ALLOW IT.
This is Mi HOME! I've been here too long, experienced too much beauty...I've seen friend stand and fall, smile and cry...From the peak of the morning sun, to the fog of the evening moon, I can't sleep anymore. Hearing weeping mothers and lost sons, tumbling in the wind. Ghost calling out for mi brother and I, counting the chilling nights until we join them. And, as I stare cold faces, drifting in this river of mud and guts, in their eyes, I know our time is near.
Can I even bare life after this night? When the sight of meat brings visions of how they chopped him right in from of mi. I can smell the gunpowder sizzling through the corpse of mi brother, in the spices I hold in this supper bowl. I was once I glorious young man, as you all are now. With a twinkle in mi eye, and iron in mi bones. I pray to god that you will never have to face these wretched droids.
I have not seen the battlegrounds that you speak of, young man. But, if its anything like the lands we've been left wandering through...May the good Lord have mercy on our poor souls!...
