Black Dynamite: Am I Missing Something?

I tried. I really tried. I wanted to like "Black Dynamite" cartoon so bad. After watching 3 episodes i really truly hate it. I can't think of anyone I know who would like this cartoon. But I read comments and some people LOVE IT. I know "different strokes for different folks". so i have questions:

1) Did you see the movie? Did you like it?

2) Do you watch the cartoon? Do you like it?

3) What do you like or don't like about it?

Hmmm Yeah...i'm kinda with ya....i don't hate...but its just not very good.

Which is a shame cuz i really liked the movie. doesn't seem like they really know what to do with the character in a series...its just so random, and most of the jokes fall pretty flat.

The movie was better than the cartoon series. I thought it would be awesome considering it's resemblance to Boondocks and at least they would have a reason to incorporate martial arts but I have to say that so far it kind of makes me uncomfortable.

The Movie was hideous...

I liked the movie and the cartoon. The Blaxploitaion era jokes can go over some peoples heads but they're funny as hell to me. The only one I really did'nt like was the Pimp Train episode with Snoop voicing the Steamwork pimp.
