Unpopular opinion, but I prefer Split. I just love seeing James McAvoy as playing all the various aspects of Kevin Crumb.

I think Split is the better film throughout, but Unbreakable had a much more satisfying payoff/twist.

Split was good but, for me, unbreakable was just at another level.

Unbreakable. It is an intimate, personal, grounded superhero story that has a daft exploration of mythology, and an excellent twist to cap it off.

Split was a solid one-time watch, but comparatively, it's just a generic horror movie that isn't scary, and didn't make as good a use of it's premise as I thought it could've. McAvoy is fantastic, though.
