Better Call Saul isn't 1/100 as good as Breaking Bad.
Is it good at all? Or is it bad? I wouldn't know, as I haven't yet seen any of these shows, which is part of why I do these polls; to gauge what others think.

It's fantastic. One of the best shows currently airing. While I'd still put The Wire above it, it definitely isn't outclassed imo.
@shroudofsorrow: Well, Better Call Saul is a spin-off of Breaking Bad which is my favourite show of all time (I was hooked from the beginning), hence the comparison. I couldn't get into Better Call Saul, it lacks the charm of BB.
I guess it's still a good show (haven't watched past the first few episodes), but having watched Breaking Bad, I've pretty high standards now.

The Wire? Lot of people love that one to death too (as this poll alone shows). I personally think there are other shows of comparable quality. I think it depends somewhat on tastes and preferences (some other good shows may be less dark or cynical, but not necessarily any less good in overall quality).
Interesting that most here have only watched BCS, myself included. It's definitely on Breaking Bad's level, though, so it's pretty hard to top. Would put both at a 9.25-9.5/10.
Both of these are works of art, but in my opinion I have to give it to The Wire. Better Call Saul should have been a slightly more focused story and I feel that it had a bit too many characters (though all the characters were well written in their own right). Now it's not some huge different or anything like that as you have masterclass characters like Chuck, Kim, Jimmy, Howard, Lalo, etc. who are better than like 99% of the cast in The Wire.
The other main reason I pick The Wire is that in this case I actually prefer The Wire's large-scaled commentary on society and the way it structures itself as this sort of grand tapestry about Baltimore, and about American society as a whole.
