What's the best religion?
What's the best religion?
Buddhism; not close. I don't care about the supernatural stuff, only whether their teachings have legitimate practical value. So many other Religions just tell you common-sense moral stuff like "giving to charity is good", whereas Buddhism offers legitimately interesting insights into the nature of conscious experience.
Christianity for the sole reason that it gives its followers the most freedom compared to the other ones. In the same way it is flawed as well (especially Judaism and Catholicism).
Also templars bruh

I think islam is the best religion as other religions have been corrupted by modernity while islam has remained pure. The proof is the vast majority of Christians are scared to defend Christianity in Europe and americas while Muslims everywhere will defend their religion no matter what
I was drawn between Hinduism and Buddhism. But, If I'm in India, Buddhism is still a part of Hinduism, for the most part. So, I pick Hinduism...
Personally, out of the major religions, Hinduism has perhaps the coolest most natural idea of god. Once I understood it, it just made so much sense. It's so fluid that nearly every other religion can jell with it...
Though, I would pick Jainism, if it was up there...They are truly the most passive religion. They refrain from hurting literally EVERYTHING. They even sweet the floor before they step, to keep from stepping on insects. That's some next level stuff...lol
But, they themselves are a off-shoot of Buddhism, which is a off-shoot of Hinduism. So, Hinduism is the best.
Though, on a side note, I still love the ritual aspects of Catholicism...lol, I still remember those fondly...

Why do Hindu gods look so ugly? I would never worship anything that looks like that. Something that looks like that shouldn't be worshipped.

AWWW, those are the coolest ones. Judaism, Catholicism and Orthodoxy...

I've always been Christian and I'm Christian. Christianity, for true Christians, is way more than about following commands. It gives you peace through times of trouble. It recharges you so much, when God answers your prayers. It's really unimaginably blissful knowing that you have the promise of eternal salvation. It's so good having God there to guide you every step of the way, even though you're enduring suffering at times at least. God is good, as knowing my psychology, He put me in one of the better situations to be in, if I do have to endure some suffering. At my lowest point, God made sure that I could as least say that He braced my fall from going to the very rock bottom. Thus, with all of this validation, I don't look at it as a religion, so, I can't say what those others offer, I presume in the way of advice and how to live; God is here and interactively helps me with both advice and living, as a way of life; I see questions like this as just from non-Christian, non-believers, so, I try to give as persuasive a message as I can to invite people towards their eternal salvation. Don't be deceived; it's not a matter of force, it's a matter of helping people truly obtain their eternal salvation and this experience of inner peace that keeps you happy, even though, otherwise, there's no better way of looking at it, but you're living on the rocks; God, through Christianity, keeps you feeling differently; because of this inner, I just stay at a very high level of happiness. In terms of this question, I don't see the disagreement as a challenge to Christianity, I just see it as a lack of understanding, which can't really be fully explained, because it's an experience that you can't know until you've crossed the path and become a true Christian, through the validation of the Holy Spirit, thanks to the work of Jesus.

Whichever one you believe in.
No religion is the obvious answer, so I'm going to ignore it.
Bearing in mind that there is an enormous amount of diversity in each of these religions, which makes this type of question impossible to answer...
I would have to generally go with Buddhism. They have the least violent history, and their beliefs seem to be the most compatible with modern science and moral sentiment. They don't preach a God, and seem to be in favor of self-determination, and freedom of thought. They tend to hold the progressive position on homosexuality, premarital sex, and contraception. They also don't have a caste system.
How is that DB vs Comics threads are banned as they a deemed to be too toxic.
Yet posts like these are a dime a dozen here?

@leonhardt: A great mind as of yourself has no time for religion and someone else's "GOD". You are a strategic mind of action, not passivity...You get sh!te done. Men like Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great were your prophets. They GOT SH!TE DONE! I can respect that, young blood. You surely are a better man than mi.....

As a Muslim, i 100% agree!
@supersonictl: stop kidding yourself, only if terrorist organizations like ISIS did not followed any type of religion, they wouldn't have been so easy to manipulate in killing innocent people.

If you don't know anything about Islam than even talk about it...
I'm Muslim and i'm proud that my religion is Islam.

I never talked about Islam, I just said people who follow religion are easy to manipulate because they are dumb.
Also I hate fake Pride. pride is nothing more than a joke, it is for people who want to restrict themselves by society just to look good in random people eyes.
Following Christ Jesus.

Dont kid yourself mate. U @ Sonic wit "terrorist organizations like isis" after he states "As a Muslim I 100% agree" when agreeing wit someones reasons for preferring Islam. Mentions preference of Islam, gets the isis mention right after. Coincidence? I think not. U never talked about Islam, u subliminally took 'shots' at it.

Thanks bro!
As a Muslim i never had any kind of problems.
These isis don't have any religion they just use Islam as a terror working and misinterpret the message of Our prophet.
