Nice list! I'll go with People Under The Stairs. Sean Whalen was awesome as Roach.

I picked wrong turn cause that's my GF favorite one and mine isn't up there.

As a kid my favorite was Darkness Falls, totally underrated.

Was that the one were they ended up in a lighthouse fighting a ghost witch?

@the_thereminist: yep, she was like the tooth fairy of the town but if you saw her face while she was trying to take your teeth she would chase you down relentlessly and kill you.

Only thing that could combat her is light. As a kid I was made shook.

I think I need to re-watch that one. I vaguely remember it but it was one of those drunken horror movie nights with my mom over a decade ago.

I miss horror movie night with mom. Thank god I have a mom who loves horror movies.

The Thing should be on the list. I think it would win.

The fact Halloween only has 6% of the vote is sacrilegious

I’m going with my heart and choosing the Shining. If Carpenter’s The Thing was here I would have picked that.

Where's "Shutter"? That's the most scary movie I've seen or atleast was when I watched it years ago.

Either way, there's a bunch I didn't watch from this list but now definitely will looking at the votes for some. Out of these the new It is probably my favourite, love the atmosphere and adventure feel to it and scene with the kid was pretty creepy too.
