I personally prefer Beethoven, and he was the most disciplined of the two, but clearly Mozart was touched by the gods. He was the most talented one, by a mile.

Well, maybe half a mile.

Back to topic: Mozart may have the edge in speed, but Beethoven have him beat (by feats) in the durability and strength domains.

As great as Beethoven was, and as much as I love his music, there was something truly otherwordly about Mozart's best music.

Bach was better than both, of course.

I prefer Beethoven. Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata make it the clear choice for me.

Both are great, but I gotta go with Mozart, his Requiem being the deciding factor.
