Do you believe in other life forms in the vast Universe?
Do you believe the extra-terrestrial life forms will contact us first or we will?

@rubear: It is actually possible. Unless the Universe is actually infinite, in theory.
There might be some folks living on Mars but they all died out due to some planet-wide catastrophe
That is if we believe what the CIA telepath had discovered:

The universe is big, which brings up so many possibilities. You don't think the whole universe is reserved for us, do you?
Also Hi Comicvine!!!!
It would be weird if in this universe with a couple trillion galaxies each with hundreds of billions of stars, we were the only life forms.
I don't think we are alone, but the thing is that once more again, we weren't able to create lifeforms based on inorganic matter, we made all sorts of chemical experiments, we simulated the early stages of our planet and still, we can't create even basic lifeforms out of scratch.
Before DNA, there was RNA but how was the RNA created?
Maybe life itself isn't a product of chemistry as we know it, maybe life itself is an extremely rare particle that aleatory appears within the quantum foam, maybe it only appeared once since the beginning of the universe and it spread through our cosmos within asteroids and cosmic dust, maybe the big bang gave those mathematical attributes within the quantum field, an unknown field, in fact, we constantly get new numbers from the quantum field.
This is how huge is our universe:

welcom to the vine!
I'm hoping there is.
The narcissism and close-mindedness of us humans is always amazes me.
Why do so many people actually believe that the whole universe is centered (not literal) and reserved exclusively for us humans? It’s hilarious.
Yeah probs
Universe is huge and it has countless number of stars and star systems.
Therefore we cannot be alone. It is mathematically impossible.
Improbable
I don't know, I want to believe, but it's possible that we truly are alone, and it's not because I think we're special or anything, but it's that we're just some accident.

If you believe you can fly.
@jaggernutt: Cute. 🤨

You like that? How about this.
@jaggernutt: Ha ha hah, very funny.😐

Or this one.
Don't think so. The observable universe is 93 billion lightyears in diameter. Kinda hard to believe it.
There are probably other life forms. It is very likely. But even the closest form of sentient life is light years away. And we don't even know if the closest sentient life is intelligent life. So the chances of earth being discovered, by other sentient life, or earthlings discovering sentient life is arguably more improbable then us being alone in this vast universe. We can't even make it to mars right now. To be fair we have millions of years to find out (That is of course if we don't destroy our atmosphere and the planet dies out naturally) so it's still possible. Just don't think it's likely.
This object some may call ''The Universe'' is kinda huge. That's why I think it is likely to be a home for many intelligent lifeforms other than us. But that doesn't really matter because we will most likely not ever even see them.
If we are alone? No, its almost mathematically impossible.
Are we the only species that think about "what is the meaning of life" or "are we alone in the universe" then id say 50/50.
I think life is extremely rare. And lifeforms as intelligent as humans even more so. It took billions of years for life to evolve into humans. So a planet has to be stable for billions of years to evolve into intelligent life, and it has to have all the ingredients.
Life similar to dinosaurs might be possible though.
Definitely not, the only thing I wonder is if the UFO's seen in the past 20 years or so often are from another dimension/reality all together or if they're from our own universe and galaxy but with just super advanced tech beyond ours. Either way their tech seems super advanced. They probably see how primitive we are and are just observing if we're worthy of making contact or not.

Agreed.
But hopefully we don't get discovered by intelligent life or else RIP the human race.
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying
@goodkarma: Good point, on the bright side we haven't been invaded yet so that's a good thing at least lol
@eredin12: oh how right you are. You can literally put the best science magicians in the world in one room to also try and explain to us “how the sun floats” and if you really think about it, it doesn’t make any sense. The sun is not a star. And no amount of science can explain how the sun “ floats” with made up fictional terminology. The sun doesn’t even look like what CGI pics try and sell.
