No.
Nazis were, and are, against everything liberals stand for.
The word Nazi stands for national socialist party. Democrats are much more aligned with socialists. Democrats are much more likely to use fascist methods to shut down opposing views.
Ahh, yes. The socialist Nazis that murdered actual socialists and communists. The first concentration camps were made for political opponents and critique, mainly targeting communists, which was the opposite ile of the political spectrum in Germany at the time.
The Nazi Party emerged from the German nationalist, racist and populist Freikorps paramilitary culture, which fought against the communist uprisings in post-World War I Germany. The party was created to draw workers away from communism and into völkisch nationalism. Initially, Nazi political strategy focused on anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist rhetoric, although this was later downplayed to gain the support of business leaders, and in the 1930s the party's main focus shifted to antisemitic and anti-Marxist themes.
Additionally, our current administration has been the most "fascist" we've can think of. Attacking the validity of media and news outlets, favoring and praising "good news" (positive attention) and attacking "fake news" (negative attention), attacking our first amendment (threatening to open libel laws, calling the press the enemy of the people, involving themselves in private affairs calling for people to fired or resign when they made political statements they didn't like, said people who burn the flag should be deported and/or lose their citizenship). The list goes on of ACTUAL fascist rhetoric and policies, not just things we dont like about the left. Or feel free to correct me.
