Are comicvine mods tyrannical?

I just made a perfectly reasonable thread and it was locked immediately. No chance at all for users to discuss the moderation system. Why are the mods so scared of anyone questioning their authority?

It's nothing to do with being scared or tyrannical. This isn't the first time you've made threads on this subject and as you've been told before: if you have a problem with the way the site is run, PM mods or PM staff.
