Please use spoiler blocks for any info that’s not in the trailers. I’m on Episode 2 and I’m very impressed. Netflix Spent a lot of money on this show.
It cost Netflix 7 million per episode and you can tell. I hope they can keep it going.
Currently on Episode 5 myself.
I didn't like Episode 1. Thought it was boring, and uninteresting, but I kept going and things got better as I continued.
Nothing spectacular, but still pretty good.
I'm currently watching Dark, but I'll probably get to Altered Carbon at some point.
Dark is surprisingly pretty good too.
Yes, very creative, and the intro theme's catchy as hell. I didn't skip it once.
Only on Episode 2 but I'm enjoying it. I don't have a problem with the acting, I mean nobody is going to win an Oscar for it but It's more then passable to me. The fighting choreography is weird, it goes from good to bad to good, etc. While I know people will have a problem with everything else, I think everybody can agree it's an extremely beautiful show, definitely has movie quality.
Not watching, but want to... at least if it gets good reviews. I heard they have a high budget, but are the stories and characters any good?
92% of the audience likes it on RT. Critic Reviews are barley fresh. But, I'm telling you it's got Westworld level science fiction. This is hardcore science fiction story. You're getting great stuff with this show.
@mickey-mouse: While I'm not on 6, I just finished Episode 4 and while I already liked it, it's definitely getting better. While he wasn't good in Suicide Squad (tbf nobody was), Joel is definitely stepping up as a leading man. Kinda disappointed to have read he's not going to be in Season 2.
That digital scene with Will Yun Lee where he takes out those soldiers was pretty awesome, and man the rampage after that scene.. It sucks most people aren't giving this show a chance, It just seems so cool.
Two episodes in and so far it's just kind of 'meh.' I'm about to watch ep.3 now. Does it get any better later on?
The show starts off kind of slow, but it gets interesting later on. Really it's the philosophical questions that show brings to the table that I think make it so good, and it shows you all of that as you keep watching.
I just finished Season 1, and I noticed some flaws in character development and other things, but overall the story and the world was just so damn interesting and epic. I didn't know this until I saw the end credits, but Jeff Russo, one of my favorite composers now, did the soundtrack. Which is why I was wondering the whole time why it's style sounded so familiar to Legion. Damn this show was good. Overall this show just did so many things that appealed to me as a viewer.
To anybody who has finished the show yet. Did it look like at the end he was in a female body? In the last scene when he walked out the rotating door.
Nah it's just the coat making it look like he had curves. I saw his head and exact same hairstyle when he was walking out.
Also just some other thoughts:
- They really should have extended the intro like they did in the last episode. The intro is just super cool.
- Joel Kinnenman is so fucking ripped. I can only imagine how much training he did to get to that point. Unless you're telling me normally maintains that level of bulkiness.
Ortega is kind of annoying lol. But maybe that's the point of her character?
