Heist or Horror?

Which you rather watch.....

A heist movie, full of planning, backstabbing, and lots of money....

Or a horror movie full of screaming, actual stabbing, and young women who look good but do really stupid things.....

Which genre is better?

(I'll try not to make many of these)

Never saw the Transporter films (despite how awesome Jason Statham is), but I saw the rest in your post, and liked em all.

With horror though, there was Psycho (that could maybe fit into thriller? Nah, it's kinda a precurser to slasher, I guess), as well as the old Universal horror pictures, and who can forget Evil Dead and American Werewolf.....

Tough call.  There are movies like Aliens and The Call of Cthulhu for Horror and that movie with the super intelligent sharks, and of course Jaws 1, yet there is Ocean's Eleven, Bank Job and others for Heist.  But what truly cripples horror movies is that they Don't know when they should die, Examples being friday the thirteenth, The Living Dead, Halloween, Jaws, they just end up making way too many remakes and crappy sequels.   Plus Horror Movies have by far the most B-List movies with budgets that put Youtube to shame.   Like Plan 9 from Outer Space. *AKA crappiest movie ever made, period*

The only competition for B-list Movies for Horror are the Golden Age of Movies Sci Fi films.  Invaders from Outer space, The Blob, Freaking Earth vs The UFOs, Various crappy movie remakes of War of the Worlds, too many mars movies to list.   But Sci Fi encompasses a very large chunk of Horror.   The Most recent Sci Fi B-list movie is, *shudders* Battlefield Horrid I mean Earth.

I'd give the transporter films more of a 80s/90s Action Revival than heist....

As a child of the horror that is the 80s, I got to go with horror. 80s was the height of over-the-top horror. Not so much gore (i hate this whole torture porn genre along now, i.e. Hostel) and a whole lot of sex. Heist movies could never compete with the ridiculous that is Killer Klowns from Outer Space
