Considering how absurdly large the Universe is I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility.

I am trying to find the live NASA tv youtube video of them using the low-frequency infrared camera for the firt time and seeing doezens ofufos leaving orbit in a hurry and you can hear the announcers astinishment and them trying to play it off.
Seems its is buried under hundreds of copycat videos using the footage for 10 minute ufo weirdness so it will take a lot of digging

" @hydrabob: while I agree that the conditions for our survival were a long shot, statistically speaking given the size of the universe there should be quite a few planets with conditions just like earth and should be more than capable than developing life. Now I'm not saying that they will be what we deem "intelligent life" but it is also very possible that there is life above and beyond anything on our planet. Also whose to say for life to exist it needs to be under the conditions of earth. A planet could be the opposite of earth and still develop life, but just adjusted to that atmosphere. So to me there i sjust to many chances at life existing for it just to be us. "
True there might be multiple planets with similar Earth conditions, due to the vastness of the universe, but a planet developing life?

@Darkseid Elite: i doubt they would do us any harm. you get people that say they have come here to take our resources, and i think really?? if they have perfected space travel what the hell do they need to come here kill us and take our oil or whatever. i very much doubt they are running there ships on diesel. If they really are here, i reckon they are just curious about us.
i believe that before we find life outside our planet we will find something that isnt living but isnt non-living and will completely change our way of thinking about life. that is just more likely than finding life imo. i think people should stop thinking about things as either living or non-living and try to find other kinds of things
