Tell me what you guys think:
Absolutely. People will probably have nitpicks, issues, problems, and whatever else they want to complain about to prove it's not the greatest movie ever or a perfect 10/10. But for what it was, for what it promised, for what it had to deliver on. The damn thing gave it all and then some.
It's not perfect but it's pretty good.
It's nice to see that Captain America finally gets the happy ending that he deserves after all that mess he had to deal with in the 21st century. Great way for Chris Evans to finish his tenure on the franchise.
It was alright. Definitely not something to write home about.
Movie was very boring and the plot was so ridiculous it’s not worth talking about. Not to mention, the length is just absurd
Last act was the best part but even then, there wasn’t much focus on the interesting stuff you see for a split second. Not to mention, captain marvel and that entire only gurl moment was extremely corny
Thor is a joooooke. The character I was excited to see got reduced to a beer & Fortnite addicted slouch
GodZilla is hopefully the movie that brings the epic vibes
@petey_is_spidey: Are you seriously going to act like you don’t hate on the MCU constantly? Lmfao I mean c’mon man.
What are you talking about?
I barely visit this site anymore.
Since GotG, I've only watched 3/11 MCU movies released thereafter, and I don't plan on watching Endgame. I don't even post on MCU related threads that don't have to do with battles or powerlevels, because I don't even watch theirfilms, so how is it possible for me to "hate on the MCU constantly"????
I would consider WS as one of my "elite class" MCU films along with CW if not for the tone ruining and dry humor in the film.
I can also appreciate GotG for what it was trying to do and found Black Panther to be a pretty great film.
I just don't like mediocre/decent films, which is what the vast majority of the MCU falls under; most of their movies are just ok. Definitely not bad, but nothing exceptional either. Right in that 5.5-7 range.
In fact, outside of IM3 and Thor: tDW, I wouldn't necessarily call any of their films bad.
And before you go on about "her durr DCEU fanboy", for the most part, the DCEU has been only slightly better than the MCU. Sure, I consider BvS and MoS to be drastically better than anything in the MCU save tWS and CW, but WW was on par with BP in quality, and JL and SS were atrocious (or at least JL seemed atrocious; I couldn't even finish it, that's how bad it was). I have yet to see Aquaman, and won't bother myself with seeing Shazam to be quite frank.
So don't come at me with that bs. Just because I don't constantly have the MCU's d**k in my mouth like the majority of people doesn't mean I'm a hater. When they make good films, I appreciate them and recognize that, even when the tone doesn't really float my boat (see GotG). The problem is that I just find most of their films bland.
What would you think if I just blakantly labeled you and anyone else who likes the MCU an MCU d**krider????
