me too. I think they should still keep the universes separate. I think they should bring over Wolverine into the MCU, but instead of having him as a mutant, just have getting his powers from the Weapon X project. Kind of how they retconned Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

Let's hope they renew his contract as Thor. I mean, he just got the respect he deserves........

I'd personally like to see Spidey swapped in for T'Challa and that would be my new trinity if I couldn't pick any of the original heroes.

Spider-Man might not even be part of the MCU after this summer. Has anyone heard anything about Sony and Disney extending their agreement past Far From Home? That movie is the final appearance of the five originally agreed on.

With Captain Marvel, it may take longer because they will probably scout for a new director.

I doubt that'll be the case. Disney has only two spots for MCU movies in 2020 and they are dead certain going to the Black Widow and Eternals movies as these are already in advanced production state whereas the sequels for BP and Doctor Strange havent't even started pre-production. So these sequels will likely come in 2021 but definitely not sooner.

Do people honestly not get how this is a Trinity but have the balls to make fun of the op when they are in the wrong?

@joshua755: I did see a Variety report from last August saying Sony was interested but that was before Venom topped the box office, however a later December 2018 article from a different source added that Amy Pascal was eager to extend, too. Nothing solid, though and nothing out of Disney. I could see them holding off until Endgame is out; wanting to keep it hush-hush until the inevitable future of the MCU press conference.

I actually think the next lead members are gonna be a foursome

- Doctor Strange is a no brainer since he protects Earth from spiritual threats. He was the only one to forsee Thanos' defeat

- Black Panther is the king of the most technologically advanced country in the whole world.

- Ant-Man is one of the main characters in the original Avengers comics and without his help in endgame the idea of time travel would have never been introduced therefore they wouldn't have been able to bring everyone back

- Isn't Spiderman technically supposed to replace ironman?

If I had to choose only three though I would stick to Ant-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange

Captain Marvel is good but she just got introduced and I don't know, she's always out handling problems in other galaxies so you never really know when she shows up

- Didn't Cap give his shield to Falcon? This indicates that he is the leader of the Avengers now

- Didn't Thor pass the mantle to Valkyrie to make her queen of Asgardians?

- And as indicated by the trailers, Spiderman is supposed to be filling Ironman's shoes

So the next trinity should technically be Falcon, Valkyrie, and Spiderman. As weird as that line up looks.
