It would be incredible if they set the movie during 5 year post Snap with the Avengers and the entire universe in chaos, with only Captain Marvel as only superhero left.

@thevvitchking: so the sequel would take place between the five year span. I suppose it could work but it waste the opportunity to bring in moonstone plus they have to explain the 20 year pilgrimage that Carol did for the Skrulls. Let's not forget Yon-Rogg is still alive and he does eventually have two devious spawns. We also can't forget Genis and Phyla Vell (Mar-Vell's kids). There is a lot to be explored in a trilogy unless Thor 4 sets new precedence.
