Thor destroys Hela's blades again

Judging by the Height of Surter (800 Meters) and the time it took for the blades to reach him the blades are traveling well over Mach One

In these images Thor's Speed is fairly straightforward. Malekith's attacks were breaking the sound barrier and Thor was reacting to them

Here Thor reacts to Chitari blasts

These blasts can keep up with Machine Gun Fire

Thor tracks QS who is mach 5

Combat Speed:

In these images you see Thor casually outmaneuvering the Hulk and hitting him before he can react

No Caption Provided

Hulk has very impressive reaction times like casually catching an RPG

No Caption Provided

And catching an ejection seat. These are well over Mach One

No Caption Provided

Here Thor is moving in QS's perspective while Iron-Man and Captain America are completely frozen

No Caption Provided

Stark has Mach 4.5 reaction speeds, and while this doesn't specifically mean his Combat Speed is Mach 4.5, it's important to note because Iron-man was able to dodge the object as well, not just react to it

Thor blitzes Hela

No Caption Provided

Hela can casually react to Machine-Gun Fire

No Caption Provided

Thor is able to move out of the way of projectiles breaking the sound barrier

This is a deleted scene, but I think this was meant to show the characters abilities, and was only deleted so that Vision wouldn't seem like a villain

Thor reacts to, then dodges Vision's mind Gem Blast point blank range

Keep in mind that the mind stone beam has been calculated to be hypersonic

MCU Vision Mind Gem blast hypersonic in speed

Travel Speed:

Look to the bottom left you can see Thor flying through a thresher at high speeds

Thor flies through this Outrider ship at high speeds

Thor casually blitzes Malekith so fast that a vacuum is created which pulls these cars in to this portal

Thor blitzes Malekith again

Here Thor flies fast enough to create a Supersonic cone around Mjolnir

Mjolnir itself is capable of flying upwards of Mach 200

I think it's best to let agent Coulson's words speak for themselves:

"You made my men, some of the highest trained in the world, look like minimum wage mall cops. That's hurtful"

Coulson then goes on to ask Thor where he acquired this incredible training/skill

People on CV surely enjoy discussing Thor's speed. Have it be 616 or MCU lol.

A lot of these points may or may not be seen in our cav :o. The reason his speed is debated so much is because DC characters are often seen as far faster, even though it’s not always the case

Thor and speed does not belong in the same sentence. For a high tier his speed isn't impressive. He has everything except speed set.

@cyberpunkcop: His army?

Yeah A4 draws inspiration from LOTR: Return of the King and Thor plays the role of Aragorn where his subplot centers on him assembling an army to challenge Thanos

I actually do have some feats:

Loading Video...

Punches one of Hela's Necroswords away.

Loading Video...

When he leaps at her, he blocks and destroys two of Hela's Necroswords out of the air.

These are decent speed feats because her projectiles are extremely fast:

Loading Video...

Being capable of destroying something far in the distance in about a second.

The problem with this is your equivalency of combat speed and reaction speed. It does not matter if iron man can react to mach 4-5 projectiles, it would only be impressive if he had that combat speed.

Avatar image for xzone
#37 Posted by xZone (10346 posts) - - Show Bio

@kalkent: I didn’t claim they were the same, but didnt stark move out of the way of the tank shell? That does indeed require superhuman speed

@xzone: Great thread.

If you notice, Ironman had his thrusts effective , and trying to reach Ultron. Throughout that ship fight b/w him and Ultron, he was moving almost FTE or at the very least mid subsonic ranges. So , Thor has at least high- subsonic to very low supersonic combat speed.

@gazool: Thanks man, and yeah, I noticed that, but it’s hard to prove Stark was going super sonic at that point

I know UR salty overecagerrating thor fanboy but i am losing my brain cells reading this. It sounds like he could speed blitz CW Flash or DCEu WW but this is a bullshit. Keep it up wanker

Seems like you lost quite a few looking at your spelling and grammar. Figures you don't even try and argue, he did a great job and it makes you angry. Seems that simple.
