DC still has plans for MMH Post Rebirth

So I met Rob Williams today at the Cheltenham Comic Con, really nice guy, and I got 4 signed comics from him which was very cool indeed. Whilst he was talking with me and a couple other guys at his table, he mentioned that DC still had big plans for Martian Manhunter after Rebirth and that he would be writing another comic for DC following Rebirth. Whether it was Martian Manhunter or something else I don't know as he couldn't say. When asked about Rebirth, he also said that he genuinely didn't know what Rebirth was about and that other people who he knew at DC didn't know what Rebirth was either. It confirms that DC are keeping even their creators in the dark about what Rebirth is.

Least he won't be forgotten

yesss martian manhunter's role seems to be filled by cyborg (the heart of the jla) it'd be nice to see him again as someone of heart and not of anger

That's pretty cool, but I hope they'll nerf his powers a bit.

Doesn't make much sense that he's almost as powerful as Superman yet doesn't do shit to save the world (at least for the past couple of years)

@nagundah14: Not sure what role MMH will play in the Rebirth DCU, no information is available for that yet. I don't want MMH nerfed personally, his last writer did a great job at depicting J'onn's powers competently. Also MMH Is more powerful than Superman in the eyes of many.

Martian Manhunter should be valued. He is very powerful and should be represented as such. In fact, he is more powerful than Superman... IMO.

@lvenger: I'm assumingMMH will be making his debut once DC releases third wave of titles, right?

@eto: I don't know anymore, this hearsay from Rob Williams might not hold up. The third wave of Rebirth titles are bound to include the Legion of Superheroes and the JSA though.

I hope so. Pretty much all we know now is that he's gonna have that Looney Tunes one shot. They've also teased JLI in the recent JLA issues

I do hope they do something with MMH. He is one of my favorite characters.
