I loved Gary Oldman in this series of Batman movies. If this were for his performance in The Dark Knight, I would have voted for him. But Clark Gregg was great in The Avengers. His death was emotional and struck a cord with the audience. Gregg gets my vote.
Gary Oldman for me. Most everyone on this list was great in their assigned roles, but no one disappeared in their roles (in my humble opinion) as much as Oldman did with Gordon.
If this was including TDK and/or BB i would definitely vote for Oldman he IS Gordon. But frankly i didn't see enough of him in TDKR compared to others on this list.
I really want to vote for Thirlby, but I don't see her role as supporting. She was the female lead in the film, and arguably, the core. Dredd is really supporting her. She's the one with a character arc. I'm going to have to go with Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Oldman is god among men when it comes to acting, but I thought Rises was weak. Gregg was his usual awesome self as well. But I gave it to Olivia Thirlby because she pulled off the stern yet scared look and she's cuter than the other two.
