Zoom Overrated

Why is Zoom so overrated on this site? Is it fan boys or is he really that powerful ? I have watched everybody pretty much agree that Zoom could solo Thanos&Darksied at the same time and then say he can solo SBP,Surfer,Wally West and Runner.

Like I understand that he moves outside of time and is powerful but come on now.

well barry beat him and i'd say right now in the comics this is the weakest barry's been in a long long time. so it's probably just fanboys

Is he overrated? Hell yes. Is he weak? Hell no.Zoom could beat all the guys you named.

He is one of the worst characters ever created.

or maybe he's just that powerful. in the perfect world anyone of us would be virtually unstoppable with his powerset

... The amount of salt new users have against Flash level speedsters & time manipulators in this site is unbelievable.

@qdavis44: We are talking about a character who moves as fast as Wally West, the fastest man alive, while Wally is stupidly amped. Someone who can fight at levels so far beyond lightspeed that it boggles the mind.

The only reason he loses is because that's how his character is written. If he wanted to he could kill nearly every person in the planet before someone could blink, but he doesn't want to do that.

Speedsters in general are ridiculous if you take off their limiting morals. Zoom is the fastest of those speedsters. Of course he's bonkers strong.

@Shintakie: If that's the case then professor X is the most op person.Pro X with mind gem mind rapes everybody.I understand with morals and plot purposes some characters just aren't at full power and I do agree with you, but if we use that case for everybody a lot of characters would be seen as almost unbeatable

This is my take on it --- Zoom is overrated, by some for sure. Respected as a powerhouse (rightfully so) by most. And low balled INSANELY hard by an appalling amount of people. It's shocking how many (typically newer) users use the excuse of "he's overrated" to then lowball him below Superman or something of that nature.

More fanboys upset that Zoom owns their favorite character.

Again this is the problem with people using him in morals off fights. He's a character that made someone with pico second reaction times look slow. You can not underestimate how incredibly fast that is.

There are many characters who could beat him.

@neongamewave: of course there are. That's why certain characters are never around when he fights the JLA. Firestorm, Captain Atom, and other energy based characters.

He's also run face first into his own giant ego, and Wonder Woman and Liberty Bell made him pay for that.

I think you are referring to Professor Zoom not Zoom. Different characters and Zoom is much more powerful.

i think it's honestly think it's the other way around the other speedster fans boys can't get over the fact that they ARE very beatable even with high end feats. in this case Gladiator in his own right could be considered a speedster (feats many times faster than flash, zoom etc) fight in a nano second with Hyperion no less (Fighting speed), able think and analyse in a femto second, travel at faster hyperspace speeds, cover may light years in minutes (think about that YEARS in minutes), fly's over 100 times speed of light, can time travel from sheer speed as well. he has virtually limitless strength, has planet busting striking power, Durability he is virtually invulnerable feats including containing a blast that would destroy half a galaxy, flies straight through a red giant start, no harm from Thor with Mjolnir, survive black bolt whispering in his ear, Heat vision hotter than a star and the sun, as powerful and Phoenix force cyclops, freeze breath hotter than johnny storm flames, has x-ray vision, hearing from light years away, has micro vision, he can tear apart a BLACK HOLE with his HANDS..

Just saying it think he a ZOOM and other speedsters well and truly covered
