Kinda shocked Levi came at the Rock so openly.
Zachary Levi confirms Dwayne Johnson prevented the JSA from being in Shazam
Amber Heard is a domestic abuser and gaslighter, Ezra Miller is mentally unstable and a violent prick, Ray Fisher publicly denounces the people behind DCEU and now you've got this crap happening. It's no wonder Gunn wanted to wipe out the DCEU.
Oh, so we're going to blame the Rock now, first James Gunn X'd Henry Calvin and they think everyone is gonna sit there and take that?
I feel like henry is a victim of all of this at least do him how you're going to treat Jason Momoa and have him play another role. He was so honorable. He contributed so much to the witcher series it's a crime to leave him completely without a role in DC.
This is the end of DCEU and I'll accept that but pls don't leave my boi hanging D:
It’s sad this is where they’re at. Playing the blame game for movies that nobody hardly cared about. JSA characters appearing in a 2min mid-credits scene was not going to help the movie anymore than Shazam showing up in Black Adam was going to help that movie. People weren’t showing up for these movies anyway. Rocks let it be known from day one all he cared about was Black Adam/Superman, it’s never been any shocking revelation he wanted nothing to do with Sandberg/Levi’s Shazam. And Rock doesn’t own the Black Adam or JSA characters, the studio (WB’s) does. WB’s gets the final say of what is, and is not, allowed with their properties. Writers/actors/directors will only get away with what the studios allow, so if anyone is to blame for this diaper-fire of a situation it’s them. They had no direction for either Shazam or Black Adam, and opted to let the inmates run the asylum, and this high school CW level drama is what everyone is rewarded with. This is exactly why non-Batman DC movies are look at as, and considered 2nd rate cbm’s.
I can only hope once Gunn/Safran projects start production that nonsense like this DC movies are known for will finally be a thing of the past and DCU films will be produced under a competently run unified direction.
Dwayne has always been an egotistical maniac. I’m not surprised.
Has he really? I mean, sure. He'd have the standard celebrity ego, but I can't reference anything else beyond the Black Adam nonsense.
@darkrealm: at this point? It's been a flop since day one.
Shouldn't have allowed The Rock to be Black Adam from the start. Tf were they thinking? There were MUCH better options.
Dude did nothing but cause problems.
Damn, I would've preferred to have seen that post credits than the one we got.
Typical Johnson, his ego is out of control, no wonder the Fast and Furious franchise don't want anything to do with him. I'm baffled as to how he even had some input over this.

When he had the resources to make a tv show, where he could use it to make a show about anything, he made one about......himself.
@geekryan: the main actor of Shazam saying it's true, I tend to believe it's a confirmation.
@zafros13: facts

Sharing something isn't definitive proof though. He has made none of his own statements otherwise.
The Rock also had zero involvement in the DCEU other than for his own film, so I'm not sure how he would have any pull in Shazam 2.

Which show was this?
Not surprised at all. The Rock only cared about fighting Superman. I’m just ready to move on and see what James Gunn is cooking tbh
see what James Gunn is cooking tbh
Is that an intended The Rock reference lmao

I believe it's just called "Young Rock"
@krisbishop: yes lool
@mazahs117: The Rock himself should have been in the movie.
Rare Rock L
Rare Rock L
This L isn't as rare as people may think, he' been pretty egotistical in the past as others have pointed out.
Rare Rock L
Wait a second so 2003 Hollywood Heel Rock wasn’t just a gimmick?
he played that role too well. 😂
