The Hood's Crime Syndicate is pretty much Alex Luthor's Society without Infinite Crisis and without the ridiculously powerful characters like Zoom and Bizarro joining for giggles.  Which in my opinion makes it pretty awesome.  If there's an actual book about centering on him, I haven't read it.

Apoc vs Dracula was pretty crappy.
