@jameswayne: Yeah that's the most compelling part about him. By nature, he is an animal with the feral instinct ingrained into his DNA. Keeping the beast caged whilst trying to live as an honourable man is a never ending internal struggle for him. What doesn't help him though is the fact that trouble always finds him and various groups have tried to brainwash him and turn him into their personal weapon.

If written well, then sure, I can like post-apocalyptic stuff, however, Age of Ultron was crap and I haven't read OMH.

Yeah it was indeed !! It started of pretty well and then went downhill . Bendis literally forgot how to write a good comic event and team comic after 2010s . Like Millar's OML which was pretty good , consistently .

Millar's OML was amazing.

What was Wolverine in Enemy of the State? X-Men Wolverine or Avengers Wolverine?

X-Men, Avengers, X-Force, and OML. Mainly X-Men and OML though...

Logan is the ephemeral Cowboy Samurai, who just so happens to be an X-Man. And it's that combination that made him gold. Writers have lost sight of that.

Yeah ... reminds of something Claremont would have touted back in the day.

Outside of those two options I would have to say weapon x followed by a tie between samurai and berserker

the yellow and blue xmen/avengers suit looks nonsensical to me, though in those days most comic characters were bright colored...

These are undoubtedly the top 2 so I thought it would be unfair if I included them in this list :P

My avatar is of Clint Eastwood. Or the character he was famous for playing (the man with no name).

It's a little funny that Cornell has written Deathstroke, Blade and even the Black Widow with great respect, yet when he managed to write Logan it was abominable. I don't know why his take on the character was so peculiar.
