And why ?
And why ?
@gaoron: I think HGSS was great, because it was cool to have Johto and Kanto at once.
My personal fav. is ORAS, because i think it is massively enriched version of RSE with extended stories, new characters and mega evolution with some features like flying on Latia/os.
BDSP features nothing at all and it has no pokemon of higher gen than IV
Fire Red
I was coming fresh off the Ruby run then fire red happened and I loved it more than original
But sometimes i prefer OG one since you have to do the sevii island trials which sometimes are a pain but hey at least you get moltres later even though in original moltres being randomly in victory road cave was a nice addition.
Truth be told I never caught legendaries on the first try. It wasn’t until I learned to save the game when I was 10-11 before facing a legendary which is crucial.
I enjoy heart gold as well but I feel like the original was easier to conquer
Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire lmao
And many more
I think my favourite remake games are FireRed and LeafGreen because Pocket Monsters Red and Blue from Generation 1 are my favourite Pocket Monsters games ever. I think ORAS was not that good compared to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. I think Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are better than ORAS. The original Pocket Monsters Silver/Gold/Crystal were very good games and I have them as the second best generation games after Red/Blue. Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald go in 3rd place. I think HG and SS were very good remakes but I think the original S/G/Crystal were better. Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl are nothing that special. Let's go Pikachu and Eevee might be the worst remake ever.
ORAS, It has the best online experience of any pokemon game, coupled with an overall improvement of old mechanics + new ones and the level curve isn't too bad.
HGSS has the most sheer content out of all remakes, which is good but that level curve really does mess up the experience a bit, and the game feels really slow on general, which I can't stand much.
