I haven't watched the episode yet, but there's plenty of people talking about it.

Anyway, so Oliver is in prison with Talia Al Ghul. He asks Talia what she's in for, and she says she ran into an old foe in Gotham. That's probably the most direct Batman reference in the Arrowverse yet.

They're probably getting people ready for Elseworlds and the introduction of Batwoman.

@tutu246: She said an "old" enemy. If this Batwoman is anything like the comics, she's a fairly new player.

No. Talia Al Ghul has a history with Batman. Batwoman is a fairly new player in the Arrowverse if she's anything like the comics.

I know Talia has a history with Batman, since she wants Bruce to take Ra's place so they can be together as leaders of the League of Assassins. But the intention for doing it was most likely to further establish Gotham into the Arrowverse and warm the fans up for Batwoman.

Arrowverse and comics don't mix like you'd expect.
