OP: Pokemon, pokemon, pokemon, pokemon, pokemon, pokemon. Hasn't every kid from the 90's always wished that at one point? Hell, Satoshi thought it up based off of his bug-collecting hobby. It has a real world base!

That only happens when you duel people like Yugi or Bakura :P 99% of the time, they're harmless holograms.

I also pick YGO, it's the closest to our world and the safest.
