Would you rather have an army of Green Laterns or Kryptonians backing you?

Lanterns have much more versatility, so i'd take the grand 4 (Hal, John, Guy and Kyle) over any kryptonian.

Kryptonians. That much neon green would annoy me.

Superman isn't the standard Kryptonian, even though he's superior to any Green Lantern, it's still debatable and Superman is technically the 'cream of the crop'. I'd take Green Lanterns.

If I can get the Kryptonian Experiements like H'El and Doomsday then I'd back them.

Otherwise I'm going lantern

Eh, Superman is an exceptional Kryptonian. Your average Kryptonian isn't really going to be on his level. But, for the most part, Lanterns still can't match the sheer physicality of any Kryptonian so if force is what I need i'm choosing them. If strategy is needed i'd go Lantern.

Definitely not true.

Don't count their upgrades. As standard GL's, no matter how good they are, Superman is still superior. If we're talking multiple ring/ion/entity versions then yeah.

Kryptonians are like Sayans, I don't trust most of them. They'll turn on you and boom, there goes your planet.

Kryptonians, for the most part, are not trustworthy.

Lanterns would be trying to tell you how to run your army, they would bring their own laws into the picture.

One kryptonian already defeated an army of Green Lanterns.. I’d go with them if I could choose whom my ranks are.

If I knew they wouldn't betray me I'd take Kryptonians. Zod, Faora, H'el, Val-Zod, and Kara Zor-El are all beasts

I can of course understand not liking a character or simply not being interested in them, but I always am surprised when someone says they hate a character. May I respectfully ask why you hate Superman? I'm just curious.

Frankly, I'd go with Kryptonians, lets see...super powers? Check. Technology that's pretty much viewed as godlike? Check. Super geinus' scientists? Check.

I'd have them alter my DNA to Kryptonian or give me one of their skin-suits which makes me essentially immortal, in peak physical condition, never needing to eat again and the ability to emit energy blasts.

I think people look too much at super powers honestly, even without them Kryptonians are great.

Laterns can work anywhere in the universe, and they are a pretty loyal force with military training. The average Kryptonian doesn't know how to fight or is really that powerful. a couple of hundred Lanterns should be able to block the sun with a construct and without the sun the Kryptonians would start losing easily.

@black_arrow: Kryptonian tech is pretty potent, so even without a yellow sun, their tech is pretty great.

Green Lanterns.

Their sheer powers and versality as well as HAX is simply way better, with enough smarts Green Lanterns could use those rings to create battle armors giving them kryptonian - level stats, or create tech in less size to do the same like gauntlet, the list of possibilities are endless.

As for tech, Guardians of OA are pretty much far higher advanced in terms of technology as well as magic than kryptonians.

Tell that to Hal Jordan, the guy broke Speed Force barrier and nearly caused a Speed Force singularity/black hole via his sheer speed, no Kryptonian is THAT fast.

But on regular folks, regular Lanterns are FTL, while regular Kryptonians are faster than sound and below lightspeed.

Superman is an anomaly for kryptonians so not sure if i would choose them but if they were all like superman then Yes for kryptonians.
