Would you rather have a GL Ring or Martian Manhunter Powers?

Really close, but I'd take the ring. So damn versatile and you don't have to worry about candles and campfires

Going with MMH powers. Shapeshifting, intangibility, super strength, mind reading, Martian vision, etc.

If I always have a full charge Lantern.

If I take the ring, I can't use it because I don't have the willpower. MMH's powers win for me.

I would rather have my own power than gain my power from an object.

I would choose the Martian powers. It's very close in terms of preference, though, at least for me.

Ring. Like I said before, telepathy is a turnoff for me. I do not want to know.

Manhunter. Shapeshifting is my favorite superpower. It also happens to be the only power the ring can't really pull off.

If they have their weaknesses still have full effect or if neither of their effects are on, I'll go with Martian Manhunter either way

@skywalker95: Because its a curse in a realistic setting. I promise if you heard anyone's real thoughts for a second you'd probably be crushed. Something as simple like a parent having a moment of weakness and wishing a child had never been born. Mind reading isn't as simple as it is in comics.

For one most thoughts wouldn't come out so smoothly and they'd hardly be a proper translation.

- Always know what people are thinking and can control anyone.

- Can become invisible.

- Full body control, can become anyone or anything.

- Can become invulnerable or walk through walls.

- Strong and fast enough to do anything.

- Can fly anywhere I want.

Manhunter easily. I don't have the willpower for the ring

Lantern's power is less likely to corrupt. While MMH's powers are better suited for keeping superpowers secret, I don't want to have TP.

In a world of superheroes, I will choose the ring. Normal world, mmh. Because it will be difficult to use the powers without catching attention.

I agree with others about Martian Manhunter's telepathy. It would be really tempting to abuse, and it could drive me crazy.

Has anyone seen the Twilight Zone episode "A Penny For Your Thoughts"? It's a great episode showing the danger of knowing others' thoughts.

It depends on whether or not I get my willpower buffed. As it stands, I definitely don't have legendary will so I doubt I'll be effective with a GL ring. That being said, I consider the power set that the ring grants to be more up my alley. Ideally, I'd rather have that.
