Would MCU Hela and CW Eobard Thawne make a good couple?
They are both too arrogant to work well together. Hela would look down on Thawne for being a mere mortal, where as Thawne would look down on Hela for not being especially smart.
Eh, not sure why
Because they're pretty much the same person.

How so?

They're both insecure, delusional, power hungry villains related to their respective heroic rivals (Hela is Odin's daughter, Eobard is Eddie/Malcolm's descendent) who killed someone close to them (Barry's mother, Thor's hammer) and then sent them into foreign worlds (Thor to Sakaar, and Barry to Flashpoint). In said worlds, the heroes assembled a rag tag team including one member a distorted version of one of their regular teammates (Thomas Wayne Batman, Gladiator Hulk) and still in spite of all that, end up losing against them in the final fight.

That... seems like a bit of a stretch
CW Eobard and MCU Hela are definitely comparable, but comic Eobard and MCU Hela have vastly different motives. Hela is all about power and ruling and death, while Eobard is pretty much dedicated entirely to destroying Barry. They're honestly flipped, with murder and destruction only being a means to Eobard's end goal of ruining Flash's life, while ruining Thor's life is only a means to Hela's end goal of murder and destruction.
@tomkatie: I don't know, sometimes very similar characters often have one or two traits that are drastically different. Like Iron Man and Doctor Strange are extremely similar in a lot of ways, but every once in awhile there's this one odd personality quirk or ability that's the literal exact opposite of the other. I think the term for that is two sides of the same coin where they're either alike or completely opposite, with very little in between.
@mutant1230: That’s fair
They’d be a way overpowered couple if they hooked up! Lol

I agree though calling them literally the same might've been a mistake, but other than that I think they played very similar roles in their universes. Enough to make a thread about them at least xD
