And before anyone tries to make the idiotic assertion that I'm comparing genjutsu to the aforemention characters' TP, stop. But asking whether or not Jiren can resist something he hasn't shown resistance to, and imply he isn't susceptible to said thing solely due to being in a separate tier is downright vacuous.

I understand he's powerful, but mental attacks like TP and genjutsu affect your psyche, and thus have no bearing on physical strength/speed/durability/energy prohection. Just because a guy can benchpress 500 more pounds than you doesn't mean he can see through illusions or combat on a mental plane. They have 0 relation to each other in cross universe battles. And scaling hax resistance to weaker characters because said character has reissted it is fallacious.

also op does not specify what kind of genjutsu as only ocular and sound genjutsu works without chakra

@thenewguysnm1: Well, yes, anyone without TP resistance or stuff like reality warping would get affected by Genjutsu. The No-Limits Fallacy doesn't apply to this situation, it dictates that you shouldn't assume an ability/character/whatever has no limits just because it hasn't shown any, which is completely irrelevant to this discussion as Genjutsu has shown clear limits, Jiren just isn't beyond said limits.

In the chuunin exams Kabuto puts the people in the stands in a sleep genjutsu which proves that any genjutsu can work on people without chakra .

Depends on who is using it, sasuke, itachi, madara, kagauya most likely others probably not.

We don't know if jiren is immune to genjutsu but all we know is he would obliterate the spite out of the naruto verse with a glare. The rest of the hst verse would as well be obliterated from said glare.

If the person casting it had the same PL as Jiren then yes.

They need to train to be able to mix physical and spiritual energy to create chakra .Normal humans don't have chakra in their body all the time . There is no reason to assume they would cause there are on panel CHARTS and explanation stating that chakra needs to be created first , it is not just naturally present .

It's a matter of bias-hate.

Not long ago I've argued with a guy about the "Genjutsu factor"; he told me --->"yes, I know well that Genjutsu works without aiming chakra and someone without chakra can be affected. . . but I don't like this result, I don't like that a Naruto character can beat someone from another manga with Genjutsu and I don't like Naruto's Genjutsu in general. So Genjutsu can't work. Fact".

In other words if you're unlucky and find the Naruto hater or the biased one. . . Genjutsu will never work for him, even with every kind of proof, feat and statement. Sad but true.

Nope it wouldn't you guys have to remember that hax don't work on people who are much much stronger than you. You could make a case for Itachi using tsukiyomi on a guy like say Raditz and it work. But for a dude who is universal no way genjutsu would take him down lol.
