Can someone explain this Green Lantern thing to me? It looks like there are two and both are in the Justice League?

@Penguin-Dust:Simon Baz is the protector of Earth and he's probably teaching Jessica how to control her ring,that's why both are there

Basically, there are now 5 Green Lanterns from Earth. The two new ones are Jessica Cruz, who used to have Volthoom's power ring from Earth 3 but I guess she becomes a proper Lantern at the end of Darkseid War, and Simon Baz, a Lebanese-American Green Lantern Johns introduced back in 2012. I guess they're the Green Lanterns of Earth whilst Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner go back to being space Green Lanterns.

Have to wait till June 8th and 22nd, damn it!!!!!

Ohh! I thought jason fabok will work with Geoff in justice league rebirth.

Cool, red lanterns are back.

So I much prefer Mera's updated costume without the sleeves since new 52, but those spread collars need to go.

I'm wondering if it's Omen from Titans Hunt.

I am definitely getting Green Lanterns and Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. I haven't read much of Sam Humphries work, but I'm curious and I've heard good things. Rob Venditti's Green Lantern is not my favorite, but I can't deny that he did have some good ideas and he is a capable writer when not being forced into crossovers. Plus, I just miss reading Green Lantern comics. I'm also definitely getting Aquaman. The creative team has me sold.

Really? I much prefer her with the sleeves. The sleeveless look is kinda awkward-looking to me. But for real, can someone PLEASE put Garth back in his classic Tempest costume?? That look was the best.

I'm most excited for Green Lanterns. Jessica really grew on me and Simon is not a bad character.

Couple of questions.

1.) What is the difference between the rebirth one shots e.g. "Justice League: Rebirth 1" and the actual series. Are the one shots meant to provide background information or are they like are prolouge to the actual series

2.) When they say twice monthly, is exactly as it sounds. Instead one issue a month like they do now, we'll be getting 2 issues month. I am relatively new to comics, so I was just hoping someone could clarify.

3.) Is the releaunch a good jumping in point or do you need to read all the new 52 stories from 2011 first?

1.) Probably both, It will give you background info and be a prolouge to the actual series.

2.) Yup, exactly as it sounds. 2 issues a month.

3.) I think the relaunch is a good jumping point. The rebirth issues will probably fill you in.

I started reading New 52 Justice League until issue 22 which is when Trinity War started, but I honestly didn´t like TW so I dropped Justice League, I want to start reading again because of this stuff going on with Darkseid, but everything seems to be connected with Trinity War and it feels like I have to read that.

My question is, do I really need to read Trinity War to understand what´s going on with "Darkseid War" ??

And if not, can you recommend me a starting point so I can understand what´s going on with Darkseid ??

This feels so right. I like I woke up and everything I wanted DC to do is being done. And I can finally return to Green Lantern after its period of art I could not care for.

Wonder Woman is gonna be really great. I'm happy I'll be able to read it again. I are already love what Rucka has planned for the series.

Very excited for the two Lantern books. I've been wanting Simon Baz to have more exposure for awhile. Hal & GLC looks really cool.

Looking forward to more Aquaman with Abnett. Tho, I am disappointed that Mera's new costume isn't surviving rebirth.

Trinity looks awesome. Hopefully Manupul will do a better job writing Supes in this comic than he did in the Darkseid War oneshot.

Not very excited about Hitch on JL. Not huge fan of his chartization in JLA and it's taken him a really long time just to finish the first arc. I'll give it a try though because it's Justice League. Two Lanterns on the team feels like a waste. I would preferred Simon or Jessica (or Hal...) and then MMH.

Titans looks ok. Looks like they are "improving" New 52 Donna rather than making her like her pre-52 self. Was hoping for a bigger team but I'll give it a shot a least.

The roster for Teen Titans is disappointing. I had accepted that Damien would be leader but Starfire should be on Titans and Raven looks weird. Just like Titans, this team feels too small. Also, where's Bunker? He's the only good thing to come out out of new 52 Era Teen Titans.

Hopefully there's another 2-3 team books that haven't been announced. Not only is Kon-El missing from any of these books, but Cassie and Bunker are as well. And I think DC should go back to pushing Legion of Super-heroes and The Outsiders again. They need to be more consistent with their team books.

Is it just me or am I the only one who's kinda sad to see the red nightwing costume go?

Chistopher priest on deathstroke looks promising and rucka on ww of course. I like that Grayson is back to being nightwing in the blue. I don't like all the supermen titles and don't really understand why there is 3 different ones. Josh on the flash book could be interesting. ..

Edit: suicide squad and trinity look promising and better than any of the other team books

Looking forward to reading Wonder Woman again. Huge fan of Juan Ferreyra's stuff, but haven't been digging what Percy has done with Ollie. Shame I'll have to pass on Green Arrow.

I thought there was going to be a new Earth 2 series?

Well, personally I find the whole suit with sleeves to be a very dated look. Looks like a pajama. If it had some gloves, belts, boots or something to make it look more elegant, streamlined it would look better. Some more colors to spice it up. Just my opinion :)
