Wow! It appears as if we've been overestimating the Amazonian for quite a while. Would someone like Iron Man be able to defeat her in combat?

Really, he should take some wins over her.
At least a decent amount out of ten.
Just my opinion.

WW's always been below Clark. Though she at least has a bunch of showings where he shows superiority over Supergirl, though that's not a high bar I guess.

The cropping of scans and the decision to not cite all the instances posted are interesting as well. Not to mention context in the very scans the OP posted, like not wanting to kill Slade. I guess bringing stuff like that up wouldn’t have helped the OP’s intent though.

No Caption Provided

Not all instances were cited because some of those instances took place throughout the course of multiple comics. If you want citations for them though, let me know. 90% of the scans in this thread are cited though. And the only reason I cropped a few (like Mera and Ocean master instances) was for image quality sake. WW not wanting to kill Slade doesn't change him drawing blood from her and said to potentially be faster. The fact that WW needed to hurt her hand in order to hurt Clark in that instance is still a bad look for her.

@ecstaticgrace:

It’s also worth noting that Superman had his jaw hurt by the same punch don’t you think? The only reason not to include that would be because it doesn’t suit the purpose of your thread but you decided to include panels before and after said scan I posted.

It's obvious Superman's jaw was hurt because you can see she drew blood from the punch in the scan. That being said the issue number was still included so anyone could check for context.

You got me on the Slade instance but jobbing to Slade is hardly anything noteworthy given the vast amount of high tiers who’ve also jobbed to Slade. Don’t see how that would relegate her to Mid-Tier status.

Most high-tiers job to Slade in terms of speed or get hurt by his gear, not his punches, and it's not that instance alone that makes her a mid-tier, it's that + dozens of others.

@ecstaticgrace: SirDragonFly is just trolling, like he does in literally every thread. You would 100% not be able to find 200+ scans of Post-Crisis Superman operating at a mid-tier level. The problem with Diana is that a majority or her performances against high-tiers simply aren't good. She's a character that relies solely on scaling due to not having any good standalone quantifiable feats, and that scaling is highly inconsistent. Heck, just the fact that she consistently struggles so much with Cheetah kills the idea that she's a legit high-tier.

I agree with the last part. What makes Diana a potential threat to high-tiers is not her stats, but her skill and gear.
