Maybe more powerful than DCEU cavill superman.

I think on par with Supes, but greater than Wondy or SuperG. Less than Doc. M or the Surfer. This is just a hunch and not based on any resource of feats and such. I’m no battle forum expert like many others here.

He is also being to overrated but yeah I would understand that from the perspective of in universe power balance amongst characters. Already Hulk is not being done justice so yeah it would not make sense. "But lets wait to find out."

Thor is almost Star level (heat at least) so it's hard to top that.

He withstood the energy output from a star heat mostly because there is no explosion. He is more durable than a nuke for sure though if thats what your next question would be.

In terms of power levels, I doubt she’ll be more powerful than DCEU Superman. Are you asking if she’ll be more powerful than comic or live action?

If you’re talking about comics, she won’t be near the power level of any of these characters.

She'll be the most powerful Avenger per Feige iirc. The Avengers got a ridiculous boost in IW, so much so that the sky is the limit on how powerful they will make her. And you know what, I'll still hate the character :P

In terms of raw power, striking power, and energy manipulation she is supposed to be the strongest Marvel superhero in the MCU. If her speed is up to par with at least wonderwan is conster her to be stronger than everyone else on the list.

You are right. I watched a youtube video stating this. Since Thor is currently most powerful Superhero so most likely stronger than Thor.

@jedixman: I know that, but statements made by producers and directors don't always translate to what happens on screen. Especially since it was said pre-IW.

I honestly have no problem with where characters rank against each other exactly. I just don't want her to easily take care of all the villains like what happened to Ultron or Loki in the past Avengers movies.

Thor should be the strongest Marvel hero, not Captain Marvel.

In my theatre 7-8 year old kids were discussing how Captain Marvel is gonna be kicking Thanos ass all alone.

@empressofdread: I don't like that. I don't think any one hero should take the main team villain. even thor or hulk. make them the biggest guns you want, but they should be beat by thanos. I'm worried captain marvel will wreck thanos. I think thors hammer throw was a one off, he wont be able to do that to thanos in A4. but with carol I see her just pummeling him with her bare fists. only way it is remotely alright is if they make carol like the original captain marvel, mar-vell or what not.

She is hyped to be the strongest hero in MCU, Thor included, so she would be stronger than Supes by default.
