Will Joker be bisexual in Suicide Squad?

I'm not trying to appeal to stereotypes, but the recent SS set photos show a very metro looking Joker. Recent comics have portrayed him as bisexual and having romantic feelings towards Batman. I think it's plausible considering Leto likes to take risks, and it would be a good way to make this Joker stand apart from the previous two.

Lool it's weird to me but at the same time I don't find it hard to imagine someone like Joker being Bi.

I never saw Joker as strictly gay, straight, bi or anything sexual to begin with but I always thought he loved Batman in his own twisted way. I would prefer they go with that instead of labeling him.

Joker should be asexual and if not, then pansexual. Being bi doesn't make sense. Also being fabulous doesn't make you gay.

I feel like Joker works best as character that doesn't care about sex nor sees gender. Just sees people as things to be tormented or used.

His sexual "feelings" towards Batman are more to exploit Batman's uncomfort with sexuality in general than the Joker's actual own sexuality.

Of course not, but we all know Hollywood is fond of stereotypes.

Joker is not actually portrayed as bisexual. His "feelings" towards Batman are symbolic and ironic of their relationship.

That said, Joker should be asexual.

Never thought he would have a sexual preference. He gets a boner from other's suffering, not looking at Harley's fine a$$.

I agree with this. His relationship with Harley has often come across as simply him keeping her around for her usefulness, not anything romantic or sexual. I don't see the character as necessarily being straight, or anything for that matter - simply that he really loves Batman.

This is a great point too. To clarify, his love for Batman is not in a sexual or romantic way, more in a deranged obsessive way - if any label is to be used, I'd use asexual. Joker loves Batman.

I assumed he was anyway. Joker is the kind of guy that doesn't conform to society in any shape or form. I always assumed his sexuality is as fluid as his sanity.

Exactly, Joker is such a pervert that he practically has no boundaries, for him its all a joke, and homosexuality is nothing to him as he's just as likely to practice bestiality or necrophilia depending on his mood.

What I question is why anyone would assume the Joker had any grounded sexual preferences whatsoever, way I see it he rapes who he wants when he wants.

The only thing I object to is displaying this monsters fetishes on the silver screen, who knows what someone like the Joker might do.

I see Joker as being asexual. With Harley being either the one exception, or a took, depending on the story.

This is not a retcon. Piped Piper already confirmed that he's at least bisexual, although I think Joker is more Daken-like in term of sexuality.

The script, writing, and performance is all that matters.

Your title is terribly misleading and there's nothing to support this. Joker isn't even gay for batman in the comics.
