Will Captain Marvel Take Captain America's Place in the MCU?

You mean Iron man's place. Because he oficially took over in the end of the Cap's trilogy when the movie was pretty much centred around him(as all the Avengers and the franchise tho).

Captain Marvel doesn't really need to replace anyone. Is she going to be just another Captain America or Star-Lord or RDJ Iron Man? She should be her own character and personality. She should inspire people in her own unique ways.

The Mantle of Captain America should remain with Steve Rogers even in death because that's what made him special.

They are obviously planning on making her the new face of the MCU and take over Captain America's place. As someone who can lead and inspire others I mean.

Well MCU and Marvel is trying hardddddd to make her the face of Marvel but replacing Cap of what he represents ? NO way.

There is only one Cap. She really should be her own thing. No character with a solo film should be replaceable in their overall role in the MCU. Even if there is a new leader, the leader should be a different than Cap with different strengths and weaknesses. Since Cap Marvel has a different background and personality, she really can't replace Cap America in what he represents and the same goes the other way around.

I don't think so. I'm hopeful that will fall to Peter Parker.

I think she'll replace Thor (the super powered outsider with links to Earth). I feel Cap will be replaced by Bucky (soldier displaced from time). While Dr Strange will replace Iron Man (arrogant loner and gatekeeper to the next "technology" in this case magic).

I think there's a strong possibility she will join and he will leave but that doesn't necessarily mean that she is taking his place per se on the team with regard to filling the same role he had. It might be a similar role but it will be different. In many ways Steve wasn't even the de facto leader of the Avengers in the first 3 Avengers movies.

They're trying so hard to make it so in comics and now their movies. She is a nobody compared to him in comics but remember everyone don't read comics so, there's a possibility but I hope not.

Bucky, Sam or Black Panther would better leaders as the Avengers imo. But I heard some time ago that they were trying to make Carol the face/leader of the Avengers so it isn't surprising.

If Steve really does end up dying or leaving, the mantle of Cap should be passed on to another character, most likely Bucky. Captain America, moreso than literally any other Marvel character, is a legacy title that has always been bigger than just Steve Rogers.
