Will a successful live action movie of Warhammer 40k ever be made?

Successful no, they might maybe do it (I highly doubt it) but I see them making a Halo movie or a movie based on the current COD franchise long before attempting this one

Not any time soon. They'd need a budget well out of their league and given that they will not compromise on anything with their characters (kind of admire that about GW) they aren't going to get the funding from a large movie studio.

Would love one though.

No. Or at least, not an entirely faithful one. The power suits would look pretty stupid in live action, so they'd definitely need serious modifications to them.

Warcraft proves that purposely OTT fantasy/sci-fi is hard to translate to live action.
