Why is the Hulkbuster so bulky/big when his other Busters are not?

What I’m trying to say is the hulkbuster is WAY to bulky, making it incredibly slow and way to big. When Ironman made other busters to combat other characters, they were usually smaller, a lot faster and usually packed a lot more of a punch (EX:Thorbuster). Why can’t Ironman make a more compact suit to fight hulk, instead of a giant mech?

Because it would hit harder

@darkthunder: The Thor buster could keep up with a ubered up Thor, and it’s way smaller than hulk

The Thorbuster came next so it had better tech.

Also the Hulkbuster needs to have comparable reach to Hulk.

Because it looks like a good design. Realistically, Tony would know that making bulky armor to try to put Hulk the Hulk is a bad idea, probably why Hulkbusters never work.

Thorbuster had a special plot power source.

Cause it would look cooler for a hulk sized iron man to fight the hulk.

That's because it was built to absorb the OF by using a crystal Thor gifted to humanity. It didn't need to be big.

So it scals to the Hulk who is massive
