Why is batman even on the justice league?

Most he can offer is money, beyond that he's just a trained human with kevlar armor and some explosives

like ironman on the avengers at least has superpowered armor which allows him to keep up with gods like thor, Compare that to batman who needs like the justice buster or hellbat armor both of which he very rarely uses on missions so how does he handle darkseid or brainac yknow superhuman lv foes, he just does not and gets bodied

Batman is entertaining to watch in self contained stories where he deals with human level threats like the joker and scarecrow, When he's stuck in a team of superhumans. he just is so out of place like where superman is flying around the planet in a minute, Batman has to get in the batmobile or batwing to go anywhere at a decently fast speed mind you that's not even that fast compared to even wonder woman.

He literally uses ninja tactics too, hiding in the dark blending in with black clothing and striking from behind.

Imagine he tried that arkham city style pounce on doomsday, it just gets negated and he gets whipped around like a doll

He's one of the smartest people on earth. Which I always thought was sort of dumb, but, what are you going to do??

Batman is one of the smartest person in DC universe. He’s a brilliant prep master and strategist which helps the league a lot.

Intelligence+money for resources.

Because He's rich

Because someone needs to carry the franchise.

Because he's the best tactician there is in the League and has a people underestimate me aura.

He's mainly effective when he gets to do sneaky stuff while the rest of the league gather aggro.

Because Diana needs someone to flirt with.

Answering it: Because it needs a Human, edgy etc.. character. He's not useful at all if you write the rest of JL with their full potential.

This, every JL member with their potentials make Batsy Useful as fuck. Even Superman in a stance admited he could do something in Batman tech easily but wouldn't so it doesn't make Batsy just hanging Clark's dick in his mouth, because that's the most he can do here.

Of course Batsy fans won't agree with me because reasons.

Batman writen in a different universe would be incredible.

The now classic Batman vs. Superman trope, in in this sense, Batman vs. any superpowered mf, is that even more so than wanting to feel empowered through classic superhero powers, they want to see someone without superpowers besting someone with superpowers and thus feel even in their most vulnerable and fragile form, puny humans are worth more than these magic demigods. The fact that Batman has magic plot armor to make it all happen doesn't matter much to them afterwards.

If he enhances himself like Slade Wilson or Lucas Trent, he wouldn't have so much trouble half the time. He has the scientific knowledge and skill to pull it off. With the time he has off, he could be concocting a serum.

He needs to drop his pride and do himself a favor.

This is like asking why is Lex Luther a long lasting villain for Superman. Being a member of JL isn’t based off your physicals. JL has always been a complement of Heroes with different backgrounds and good stories. Which Batman has always been a core part of for DC alongside Superman, even the vast different in power. Batman stories and villains just always were more interesting than Superman ones. At least from a fan standpoint.

Batman is a season hero, capable of saving lives, proficient in almost every martial arts (and skill vs raw power happens a lot in American comics), top 3 smartest members in JL. His intellect and lore of machinery and weapons by far surpasses anything Superman could aid JL in terms of tech. In a few incarnations he has different suits that allow him to jump tiers temporarily.

He's the brains and the benefactor of the organization.

If lex ran around in the same attire bruce did and used no krytonite weapons then yea clark/kal el would rip him in two but that's not what happens.

Lex is not a weak man by any means, It's just that his might cant compare to ktytonian genetics so he uses robotics to keep up like what bruce does whenever they set him and clark up to fight

It’s not even just this. Lex Luthor isn’t Superman best villain because of some cool battle armor he is the best Superman villain because instead of fighting Superman in the physical front he beats Superman through politics and getting people on his side.

batman being on the justice league is fine but he should never be boots on the ground he should be in the watch tower

Batman on the other hand has contingencies for Superman level foes that actually succeeded in taking them down, like the Justice Buster, energy gun that one shot Bizzaro, magic armour that beat Ultraman. In terms of success rate Batman is better than Lex.
