Why I HATE SUPERMAN,SPIDERMAN,GOKU,Thanos,and Batman

I don't like theses characters anymore,because fan-boys overrate and over hype these characters.any one agree.

Thanos & Spider-Man aren't really over hyped.

@IamGog: Since when has Thanos been over-hyped? Bendis pretty much killed him. If anything its the opposite now. Spider-man may be a tad over hyped now due to Superior Spider-man being the new thing on the block but even then I wouldn't call it massively so. Heck even Batman fans seems a lot more realistic nowadays as well. I will agree that Superman and Goku still have their moments though.

Doesn't hating on characters because of fanboys seem kind of silly. I mean if everyone hated on every character who had a fanboy no-one would be reading anything. If you don't like the character simply because you've read stories about him/her and don't like them or they don't appeal to you then thats fine everyone has different tastes and opinions but hating on a character because other people like it (perhaps a little to much) seems to just be some hipster type fad at the moment.

Why do you care what anybody else thinks or allow how they respond to characters to change your own views on them?

I think that the Storm fanboys were annoying as hell during the height of the hype. Doesn't change how I felt about the character (she's okay, not my favorite), just changed how I felt about conversing about her.

@Strider92: I'm going to try and start a D-Man fan boy movement just to confuse the hell out of people, those who know actually know details about him will have no idea where its coming from while everyone else wonders who the hell we're talking about.

There's no reason to hate a character because of their fanboys.

For example, I dislike Batman fanboys who think prep allows him to defeat every single character, but I don't dislike Batman himself.

I love Superman but I know he's not some unbeatable god like some of his fan boys and quite a few of his haters as well do

Btw, I don't agree. I'm still really excited in reading on Supes, Spidy and Bats since I'm a newbie at comic books. I'm far from bored of them right now. I can't say much about Thanos and Goku because I lack knowledge on them. Thus, I can't like/dislike either of them. :S

What a worthless cry for attention. If you honestly think the opinions of others are reason enough to hate a character who is in no way at fault for those opinions, fine, your loss. But its certainly not reason enough to make a thread about it.

How did Doctor Doom not make your list op? Doom fans think he could solo the entire Marvel and DC universes with any amount of prep. I like Doom but my God his fans overrate his abilities.

Of all these characters I'd say Spidey is the least overrated but Thanos,Batman and Superman are VERY much overrated.

I agree with Batman, the rest are debatable.

And I did not say you weren't entitled to your opinion; that's fine. I don't agree, but that doesn't matter... that's sort of the whole point of opinions in general, they're bound to differ. I'm fine with that. I just don't think creating a hate thread, obviously engineered to draw a reaction and ignite debate, is necessary.

And you're reasoning here truly is horrible, no offense. If you don't like the characters, that's fine, you don't like them. You shouldn't feel the need to justify your opinion with faulty reasoning, especially not when it involves bashing the fans of characters you don't like. You say its your opinion and defend your right to it, but then insult others for having opinions of their own, which is not only hypocritical but just asinine.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to tack on the "Batman is a horrible character" part of your reply, unless you're just trying to start an argument, in which case, I'm afraid you'll have to look somewhere else. I would like to point out, though, that making a statement with the sole intention of drawing a negative response and igniting a feud actually IS trolling, so you've done a fine job of doubling down on the hypocrisy.

That is not a good reason to hate those characters.

Don't get me wrong I love Batman I just don't get the damn near religious admiration that some of his fan boys have.

Over hype, low ball, bash, praise, poor showing, godly showing. Doesn't matter to me. I like the character because the character is interesting to me, and because there is either potential for a good character and story, or because the character has good stories. No amount of fanboy hype for Batman, Spider-Man, or the X-Men will ever make me dislike these heroes or their rogues.

I agree these 3 plus many more are to overrated. in real life and on this website.
