Name your top 5 universe busters
The Universe is big
- But dude its a comic book....lmao
- And the number one law of comics books is......Physics will always take a backseat to aesthetically cool looking shit.
This is exactly what I needed right now, an existential crisis
I have an even better video for that
I know the video is long, but you can skip some of the points. After watching this I started wondering if I was real or not, or if al of existence was just a dream
It's almost as if superpowered fictional characters aren't realistic
I see what you did there...
I would tell what I was reading that pressured me to make this but it's pretty silly
To be honest, I kind of agree. It's pretty absurd when you actually think of how massive a universe is. But that is the nature of fiction I suppose, we make humanoid characters that can wipe out entire universes so we feel more in control and less insignificant.
It's especially weird when the character with this power acts and thinks like a normal person, when in reality that kind of power would completely warp a person's outlook on life.
Fact that they are poweful enough to destroy the Universe means it is logical to assume they are powerful enough to take the form of a regular human. I mean, it should be a child's play for them LOL.

theoretically, based on the current model and assumptions, an entity in the size of a quantum realm (pretty much subatomic level) could trigger the destruction (decay) of a metastable universe.
English please
@god_vulcan: Science? Come now man... It's called reality warping. There is no science and there are no laws of physics. Everything is the way you want it to be. There is no logic. You can even make 2 + 2 = 5.
I think the point they are trying to get across is the gap between the character's power and an average human is astronomical, on a level of the size of the universe. Not seeing why that's stupid.
@krleavenger: Nah I'm chill with reality warping
DBS though...
@asgardianbrony I think you got the wrong idea, this wasn't meant to be taken too seriously. Lowkey having an existential crisis rn
And I obviously know it's fiction and not real so lol @ everyone who keeps saying that sarcastically

@god_vulcan: nothing to worry about. People not agreeing with the title =/= bad thread.

ok my bad.
Isn't the Big Bang theory about the whole universe erupting from something the size of an atom?
"in the beginning there was nothing, then nothing exploded and created everything" - Science
Nooooooot, quite the theory, but why not.

makes a lot more sense.
because that special guy is batman and brought creation about through prep.

Gotta give the Batgod respect. I haven't been giving him enough offerings lately. He's getting testy, only due to the kindness of lord Alfred have I managed to live this long.

If i recall correctly, Solar, the Man of the Atom destroyed a universe in a similar fashion.
@god_vulcan: We live in a simulation, dude. We'll never see the real world.
@god_vulcan: Also I get what you mean in your first point. When Silver Surfer can travel 1000 light years a second or Odin galaxy busts, it seems so dumb like how can they do it lol
@don_higashikata: How do you know all of humanity isn't just an illusion
@don_higashikata: How do you know all of humanity isn't just an illusion
Ah, that one is kind of bs. It's just similar patterns, not much significance to it. What's more likely is that we're simply avatars in a hologram universe, evidenced by such arbitrary limits like the speed of light and so forth
