Why can't Bleachverse just soul crush everyone?

Can I ask how any bleach battle is fair since they can just reiatsu crush majority of fiction?

It's not fun to debate for or against a verse that has an instant win aura that only people in their own verse can resist. Contrary to what some might think, the battle forums are ultimately there to have fun with hypothetical "who would win" scenarios.

The main reason it's not covered under hax like similar abilities from other settings is because every character in that setting can do it, and it's cancelled out when fighting someone on your level. So it doesn't play a role in the actual combat of the setting outside of putting fighters down you could have effortlessly killed anyway. So if you're arguing Ichigo can beat Goku because Goku can't resist his spiritual pressure but admit that Ichigo would get flattened without it, you're kind of using the ability in a way it's not designed to be used. Abusing the fact they are from different settings rather than making a case based on their combat abilities.

You are, of course, free to make a battle with the verse equalization rule off so that they can spirit crush everyone. But.. Why would you want to? There'd be no point in debating that.

In theory yes, but they made the rule of equalization so that you can match them up agaisnt other verses and characters without giving them an auto win because that defeats the purpose of putting them in Battles in the first place.

I can actually.Bleachverse and Marvel or DC are 2 different universes.Reiatsu crush is is destroying someones soul which normally causes instant death.if you ever read bleach you would know its a battle between reiatsu besides special cases.We know everyone in the verse has reiatsu.Your entire argument relies completely on stat gaps.Can you explain to me how aizen didn't kill tatsuki with his spiritual pressure even with the massive gaps in stats? the answer is simple she has reiatsu to the point she can see spirits which is the bare minimum needed.No one you listed has reiatsu therefore they die instantly unless they can live without a soul,live in a astral plane,or a completely different dimensional being.Now can you post a scan of those listed that has reiatsu to resist it or those that use a similar source of energy?

Of course bleach characters stomp everyone if aura soul crush is allowed...Rules are simple you have to be spiritualy aware in order to resist it and since majority of characters are not that is auto win for bleach...superman,hulk,thor,goku fans your tears are delicious but only way to fight bleach characters is to nerf them...

They do but most people consider it unfair so they ignore it or Restrict it. Kinda like how Goku could beat Ichigo with ease if we take away soul crush or the fact that Goku couldn't hurt him

Pretty sure Soul Reapers can get hurt by real objects. Chad hit a hollow with a pole

Haki is the equalization for it since reiatsu and general energy powersets like in Dragon Ball, HXH, Naruto follow a similar rule set. Conquerer's Haki and Nen crush are 2 examples that are similar to it.

Haki is used in a similar way to reiatsu sensing.

Besides that point, it hasn't been shown to work on characters comparable to the fighter, like someone equally as powerful as Kenpachi ,then to have soul crush, defeat them. Reiatsu works as general energy more than actual soul manipulation imo

Yeah...they could, to a LOT of people anyway. It's generally restricted in battles.

It wouldn't/shouldn't on DB characters though. Part of ki is spirit energy...and while we might an argument that it isn't exactly the same, the simple fact is that DBZ characters deal with much, much higher magnitudes anyway.

All shonen characters have reiatsu. In dbz it's ki, in naruto chakra, in one piece haki and so forth.

So, it shouldn't work on those verses. As for dc/marvel we can equalize energy for a good debate, or se can focus on fights of characters that have soul related abilities.

Moreover, soul crush is not a passive thing, otherwise captains coming to earth to fight hollows would cause mass killings.

So, the move should be performed in character

@chimeroid: Dbz ki isn't the same thing as spirit energy and neither is fighting power. There are 3 aspcts of Ki, and spirit is only one of them. The androids for example don't even use ki.

What is more accurate is saying that Reiatsu, Haki, and Chakra are the 3 different aspects of ki- Spirit, body, and mind...or rather stamina, mind and will...or something. My japanese is getting worst over time I think.

That literally happened in the fake karakura. As Aizen’s forces arrived we saw hollows about 23 kilometers away disintegrating and exploding due to the little reiatsu that the combatants were subconsciously exuding just by standing around.

Stark was also killing thousands of hollows and creating mountains of their dead bodies around him just by existing.

Hell, it’s even why gentei Kaijo gets placed on lieutenants and captains because they’re too powerful and would affect the souls in the real world.

Its actually kinda serious but due to the plot of the series, it’s not something that happens all the time.

Ichigo's father came to Earth himself, not in the fake Karakura town to combat the hollow. Nobody died from reiatsu pressure. Case closed.

Spirit being one of them is more than enough to argue that it is spiritual energy. Arguing that "reiatsu" is different is just a cheap way of using semantics. Speed vs velocity...

I just told you how it’s normally not shown due to plot. Another example is Dangai ichigo coming to the real world while carrying his dad, yet his dad didn’t get vaporized. Or how Aizen and ichigo weren’t vaporizing the objects around them even though thats something that post chrysalis Aizen could do.

You are reaching for the "PIS" excuse instead of arguing with what was given. From what i saw while watching bleach, the soul pressure is something they willingly release. Just like the fact that they all keep their Zanpaktos small even tho they could be wielding skyscraper-swords.

@chimeroid: Soul pressure is constantly released, you can say that they can focus it on specific target, like when aizen Forced Grimmjow to kneel, but is a passive energy that is always There, Just look at starrk, killing hollows Just by being near, his biggest fear was being alone because of this, he didn't want to Kill them but he couldn't control his soul pressure.

It’s not reaching, it’s the truth and I just gave you 3 examples of this: the combatants reiatsu in karakura passively killong hollows 23 kilometers away even though they had just arrived and hadn’t started fighting; Stark passively causing mountains made up of thousands of dead hollows all around him; Aizen passively killing humans and vaporizing objects around him.

Hell, I’ll even add a few more for you: Kaien Shiba passively soul crushing rukia during their first meeting; Kenpachi passively soul crushing ichigo, Hanataro and Ganju all at the same time.

Kisuke himself states that soul reapers have to exude reiatsu from vents on their wrists. And I’ve just given various examples of characters passively releasing reiatsu.

What about the many times shinigamis came to earth to protect humans from hollows. If it was passive, every time Shinigamis came, people would be dropping like flies.

@chimeroid: Not at all, you need to be incredibly powerful to Kill a creature Just by being near, starrk was the primera espada, a random shinigami could never do the same. When the soul society sends seated shinigami in the human world they give them a seal to limit their power, with that they are 5 times weaker and they do that to avoid collateral damage.

Same reason HxH characters can't just nen crush anyone.
