dude it's Batman. It's insurance against a major franchise for them. If you want Bruce Wayne back, don't buy the new issues of Batman and I'd put a fair wager you'll see Bruce back in the suit within 6 months.

It's not nearly as cheap as Marvel Universe being up to it's collective ass in clones and resurrections.
