This is actually kinda tough on average I would initially lean towards Diana but from the movies in pure physicals they seens about equal with differences in speed and durability.
On feats Arthur probably edges it due to the sub though its underwater... others will say Diana stopping Doomsdays punch is the better showing.
Is is actually tough, it's possible to Argue for both, but I'd pick Arthur as being slightly superior in terms of physical strength, but Diana when it comes to battle
IMO, Aquaman isn't stronger underwater - he just have a supplementary power of movement there (swimming) that adds to his effective strength.
I think Aquaman has a more consistant kind of strength, one that provides him with a natural durability to bullets to some degree, while WW's strength looks like it works in bursts of on/off efficiency. Maybe it's just me.

I agree with this. WW utilizes hers less because of the effectiveness of her gear. Although that works well with her physical strength. She can certainly use it whenever she wants to when she has to.
The real question is, would Arthur be better in replacing Diana against Doomsday from BvS?
Kind of apples and oranges. Diana had gear that made her useful against Doomsday. her sword could cut off limbs, her shield helped her tank blows, and her lasso allowed her to immobilize Doomsday.
Arthur's trident could certainly stab Doomsday, but what good stabbing would do is debatable against something with that kind of regeneration. Arthur also has no way of restraining Doomsday which was Diana's big contribution.
