Batman was way more badass than Panther when you compare their appearances in their debut films. That's not saying Panther doesn't count as badass at all. He definitely does. He's got his moments in Civil War where he's a total badass. The Highway Chase scene with Cap and Bucky was superb. But I think Bucky Stole the most badass award with the one hand Bike Flip, Running faster than all of them and stuff. In the airport fight too, BP has his moments. The flying triple kick, the no nonsense attitude while fighting Clint. etc. But he tends to get overshadowed by other characters.
DCEU Bats was a different beast altogether. Ben Affleck did a fantastic job. He shines in every scene. Although He was a total step away from the usual conventional Batman and looked like being dropped from a Arkham Videogame or some Fan fiction, He totally owned the scenes. The warehouse scene was probably one of the best cinematic action sequences. His workout sequence, mercenary Chase sequence, the moment when superman confronts him, the attitude in his reply, the Batman v Superman fight where he absolutely owned every scene, the fact that a human came close to killing a God through planning skills and his unbelievable guts.. all these scream Badassery at another level. The mere fact that the actor whom we assumed would be the worst part of the movie but turned out to be the best part, speaks volumes on how good he was.
All this might change in BP solo movie though. The stuff I've seen in the trailer are unbelievably fantastic. BP might as well turn out to be the most powerful street level in the MCU.
