Who’s got better striking power, mcu Captain America or comic Batman?
MCU Cap and it ain't close. Bruce is a peak human, no matter what, and it's not hard for any rational person to see the line between that and what MCU Cap does consistently.
@the_hajduk: Are you @nickzambuto ?
@the_hajduk: Are you @nickzambuto ?
No.
@ldm: What are your thoughts?
@frankthetank40: Bat mostly due to his high-end
@the_hajduk: Really ? Like you and his way of debating are almost the same, so are your favorite characters
@ldm: It's Nick.
Batman curbstomps. Lol at people thinking his tree feat is one of his best. That’s a low end feat. Oneshotting Poison Ivy (capable of tanking The Canary Cry IIRC), oneshotting Pre-Hush Virus Killer Croc (capable of tanking hits from Nightwing), oneshotting a mech, sending Ultimate Clayface flying, etc are all feats far beyond Rogers.
I'm not arguing who is stronger but the peak human argument is stupid,as what a "peak human" is varies from franchise to franchise. Someone like saitama can be called "peak human" and yet his striking feats are above everyone's in the mcu put together.

This.
@goofthefloof: You sure ? He seems more Beyonder level to me, and that is low-balling it
Spectre Kick! No,but really. I'm sure Batman has more high-End comic stuff to pull from. So,going with him.
This is getting out of hand.

And Karate kid (Pre-crisis) is multi-galaxy
Anyway, Judging from the comments: Peak Human of Comics >> MCU Spiderman
The problems with fictitious Peak humans, is that they rarely are.
Samurai Jack is considered a Peak Human, even when he is a superhuman in all his statistics.
By DC standards he is peak-human. Even non-trained comic book humans are stronger than real life humans.
@camilopezo: who has considered Samurai Jack peak human?
I very much doubt that is the writers' intent.
Batman and it's a stomp. Whenever Cap shows the striking power to make short work of someone who survived hitting the ground at terminal velocity, while weakened, then Cap can start to compare. Also, Batman cracked bazooka-proof glass. That's beyond Cap. And INB4 that steel beam feat, he dented it because he kicked Spiderman at it, same guy who casually busted steel by jogging a little. It's the same as Batman smashing four concrete pillars by slinging Superman through it.
Even if the title was " Who’s got better striking power, mcu Hulk or comic Batman?", I got absolutely no doubts, that the results in that poll would be even somehow. I got no foking doubt, 'cuz Batman fanboys society striking power is limitless.
“Whenever Cap shows the striking power to make short work of someone who survived hitting the ground at terminal velocity, ”
When did Bats do this?
@_kingoflatveria: Then is Batman stronger than MCU Spiderman?

he has better striking power that doesn't mean he's stronger though

KK isn't galaxy level anything, scaling him to Superboy is pointless as he wasn't overpowering him, just tossing him around.
And Cap didn't overpower MCU Spider-Man, but like I said I don't care to argue who is stronger.
Tbh I don't know why people are bringing up the tree feat, I always saw that scene as a display of discipline and technique rather than physicals.
@the_magister: That’s actually true. I remember a scene where he was training on how to kick with a martial arts master, in the same scene the instance where he kicked down the tree was referenced/shown
@causeimbatman: Exactly. People in real life can chop through concrete blocks with pure technique and follow-through. It's not physicals.
“Whenever Cap shows the striking power to make short work of someone who survived hitting the ground at terminal velocity, ”
When did Bats do this?
When Batman was captured by William Cobb (Talon), he was tortured for seven days or so (IIRC) without any water or food. Basically he was weakened (mentally and physically). Eventually he went complete batshit crazy and quickly took out Cobb (while punching giant holes through thick marble walls, IIRC). Here's the thing that makes this more impressive than it already is: Batman beat him up so badly that his healing factor completely ceased to work, when earlier on in the storyline (Court of Owls), his healing factor healed his body after he hit the ground at termial velocity. Bruce beat up a superhuman so badly that his healing factor literally stopped working. That's a ridiculous level well beyond Cap's level.
*EDIT* Basically what @jashro44 said. I didn't see his post, but yeah that's that.
@worldofthunder: ohh, that feat. Jesus I didn’t realize Cobb hit the ground at terminal velocity, that makes it way more impressive

Yup.
@causeimbatman: when did he send Ultimate Clayface flying? iirc he was getting beat
@boogie123: in the end he beat both him and Mr. Freeze but he did send Clayface flying a bit at one point.

This thread isn't specifically about physicals though, it's about striking in general and technique plays a big role in that.
@causeimbatman: @worldofthunder:Cobbs was incapciated for a bit after his fall from Wayne tower. We don't really know how long Cobbs was knocked out after his fight with batman because he left the maze IIRC.
