Who will have Better movies from now till 2019 marvel or DC

Probably Marvel. DC has like 4 movies, while Marvel has 80.

quality over quantity. Warner Bros has fewer DC movies to concentrate on, so it will probably do better than Marvel Studios' juggling of multiple movies.

Marvels track record is better. Especially if you could cont sony and fox. Not saying there arent any duds but dc has been floundering ever since nolan was done. Wonder woman was the first decent film they put out out in a long time. That doesnt inspire confidence.

I choose DC, mostly because I'm excited for Nightwing, JLD, and Flashpoint and I loved Man of Steel and the Ultimate Cut of BvS. The last MCU film I liked was The Winter Solider (Which is my favorite out of the MCU). However, I loved Logan, but that was Fox. New Mutants sounds cool, but that's also Fox. The Infinity Wars also looks like it'll be good. But in my eyes no superhero movie now or ever can touch Watchmen The Ultimate Cut.

Watchmen The Ultimate Cut > All DCEU, MCU, and Fox films.

If the Batman actually gets released and somehow clicks with the audience and gets everything right, It could beat Marvel everywhere. Story, Collections, Popularity etc.

Or else Marvel simply has Infinty war on the table. Its a huge project. Bigger than the biggest ever. so Marvel wins that way.

I don't even count Fox as apart of Marvel.

dceu cant even hold down a director alot of those movies probably wont even happen deadshot,batgirl its too hard and dceu isnt very good at handling movies like that

at this point marvel is king of movies when infinity war comes out everyone will forget about JL Lol at least until part 2 comes out for it

Mmmmmm DC will probably generate more riskier, dark edgy movies and Marvel's probably gonna pump out more enjoyable blockbuster/popcorn flicks

But in the long term DC's properties are just more badass with a more diverse mythos so I think their movies will draw more attention (both good and bad) but I think Marvel's already established reputation is gonna bring in reliable money all the way through

seems like they have 2 shows taking place in their own universe, their animation is all over

and their Joker movie will be all on its own

they just seem more creator driven and not focused specifically on making their universe

yeah could be. But russos have had the much needed practice of handling multiple characters in Civil War. I think they'll do Infinity war just fine. Plus they're not pushy about the humour. forced humour and excessive lightheartedness is what I feel makes most MCU movies a one time watch affair.

with double the characters its a totally different scenario

between Starlord, Antman, Spiderman, Ironman, and Dr Strange theres a few too many jokesters here(even if you don't count Rocket, Hawkeye, and Black Widow jokesters)

Your concerns are legit. Most probably it's gonna be a lengthy movie. Like more than 2 and a half hours and many characters won't get much screen time. I don't think Russos will overdo the humour. I have faith in them.

when I first went and saw GOTG I really liked it, but more people wanted me to see it with them

I ended up seeing it 4 times in theatres with different people

and I got sick of it before it was out of theatres, and I've liked it less every time I've seen it after

too much humour is not good for repeat viewings for me

the Russos are good at street level, but they made almost no use of stronger characters, Vision didn't even do anything in the Airport fight

not sure how they'll handle the heavy hitters, but they brought Ironman down to street level

@saberscar223: They probably won't come out in 2018 or 2019, but Nightwing was 100% confirmed. Chris McKay will direct it. It's supposed to come out after the Batman standalone. Flashpoint is scheduled around 2020-2021ish.

Definitely Marvel, and this is coming from someone who genuinely enjoys DC.
