MCU Ultron was awesome. I wish he got more than 1 movie.
He had his moments, although I wish he was more menacing and less jokey. Similar to EMH's Ultron.
@skywalker95: Yeah he had a lot of jokes but James Spader was sinister af when he wanted to be.

Yeah, Spader was beyond amazing when he wanted to be.
The second I saw Jared Leto as joker in the promo pics with “damaged” tattooed on his forehead, I instantly expected nothing from him. So I guess ultron was personally more disappointing
DCEU Joker, no doubt. MCU Ultron is not an accurate adaptation, but at least he's charismatic and fun to watch.
Ultron.
Joker was terrible but I didnt expect much to Begin with.
Age of Ultron (not just Ultron) was just disappointing as a villain and team buster
IMO AoU was as badly written as Ironman 3, both were trash
I liked Ultron. Plus it made sense he was corny because his personality was based on Tony Stark, his creator.
I don't even remember any of Joker's moments.
phoenix joker
i didnt watch the film but you can easily see from the previews it was not original source joker
Ultron was definitely the better character .
However , eh , I believe that Joker was less disappointing because he has potential and is alive , at least .
Unlike Ultron .
Also , given how the DCEU has a track record of retconning and massively improving characters ( except for Batfleck , which was the opposite ) , I believe they can completely change the characteristics of the Joker or maybe even recast him .
I didn’t like Ultron at all tbh, he was weak as hell compared to his comic book counterpart
Everyone is weak compared to the comics.
@camilopezo: yes everyone is weaker, therefore making them in universe still powerful. Wanda, Carol, Thor, and Iron Man are all top tiers in universe. While yes I would expect Ultron to be weaker, he was weak even compared to the high tiers. After all he’s supposed to be a team buster
Ultron could have been a lot more menacing, but Joker was a straight up trash fire. Not as bad as DCEU Lex Luthor, but closer than he should be.
Actually going with Ultron given the hype the trailer had for him, had us thinking it was doomsday for the Avengers, really dark and final and then we got...an entertaining villain for sure but comedic and absolutely nothing like the trailer promised.
I had no expectations for Joker at all, therefore while he may be the worse villain by a mile, he technically didn't 'disappoint' me in any way.
Ultron easily, that first trailer had me so hyped, letos joker on the other hand was obviously going to be cringe the first time i saw him.
Joker was far worse, but the Ultron was definitely different from what the original concept of his mcu adaption was going to be. Pretty sure it was documented that Joss Whedon had a horror theme planned out for the movie, but as production took place the mcu creative committee took control from Feige and altered it to be the cheesy action flick it ended up being. It is the movie that convinced Disney to give Feige complete creative control over the MCU as it was seen as a "disappointment" box office wise at only 1.5 billion. So, even though I enjoy the movie, I'm glad Ultron wasn't the beautifully horrific villain we were promised, cause since 2015, the MCU hasn't pumped out a bad film yet.
